ALEKO 13 x 10 ft Sand Motorized Retractable Patio Awning

Unit was shipped in a timely manner, awning is terrific and well priced. Quality workmanship but poor instructions. Fed-X on the otherhand lost the package for 8 days in its Oregon distribution center. Arrived in good condition and was enjoying the awning the next day. YouTube is a great help with the instructions.

Bought two 13 X 10 retractable awnings and also the mechanisms to convert to motorized as opposed to hand crank. It took some time and effort to assemble, but overall very happy with them. Thank you Aleko

Great product easy to install good directions would definitely recommend this product

I got the 13'x10' one. Very nice product. Instructions are clear. The only flaw is it says to drill 19 mm hole for concrete wall anchors they provide. Can't find a 19mm concrete drill bit so you have to use a 3/4” drill bit. The anchors provided won't hold so I used concrete wall anchors and screwed in 3/4 lag bolts. Worked a lot better.

Horrible directions. Had to order the mounting triangles to mount hoping they would make awning more secure and higher. We have had this awning up through two rain storms and it has filled up and almost collapsed both times even when it was retracted to half its length one thinking less material to hold the water would make it able to hold the water. I now have it extended about 4 feet to see if water will run off and not pool into the middle. Terrible product unless you live somewhere where it doesn't rain. I would like to get a refund and just trash the awning, as it's not worth using.
