ALEKO Vinyl BurgundyFade Fabric Replacement for 21 x 8 ft RV Retractable Awning

I ordered this cover as a replacement for my sun rotted one. Shipping was very fast. The price was about a third of what I was quoted at camping world. It appears to be good quality but really won't know until it's been used for a while.

Nice awning. The fabric is thick and feels strong. The color fade looks good. I laid the awning out for a day, in the sun and it softened up just enough to be easy to handle. This was a decent purchase. Now, some issues I had; The plastic rods came folded, instead of rolled, this caused some difficulty in handling while sliding into the rv and roller. Customer service at ALEKO is pretty bad. You might have to make some phone calls to get them to ship. Definitely don't bother going. To the store.

I ordered the 8' x 8' size awning. The width is actually 7'2". There is a one foot gap at one end of the installed awning. I aligned it over the door so we can go in and out without getting wet in the rain. It's decent quality and installed relatively easily so I didn't mark it lower. The manufacturer needs to get the sizing correct or correct the listing to reflect the actual size. The price is the main reason I kept it.

The front flap for rain protection was assumbled on backwards. The finished edge was sown onto the main part of the awning. My awning now has an exposed unfinished seam that will most likely unravel over the next few years. Beware of craftsmanship.

I ordered a burgundy fade awning in size 18x8. My order was processed and when I received it the awning was 20x8 and a brown fade pattern. I went online to check my order and there were no details available. I tried to reorder the correct item, this time it said out of stock, options not available. Which it did not say the first time I ordered. Makes me wonder if they just sent me what they had on hand close to my order. I will not order from Walmart.com again! But the product itself, had it been what I ordered, is fine.
