Alera 2 Drawers Vertical Lockable Filing Cabinet, Putty

I'm using this filing cabinet in my home workshop. The color coordinates with the tool cabinetry and flooring. I first checked the price of this EXACT filing cabinet at a local Seattle office supply company. I saved over $100.00 by purchasing it here. Shipping was a huge bargain! ALWAYS check the internet for FileCabinet.com coupons or promotional codes. I saved an additional $20.00. My favorite things about this filing cabinet are the full-width pulls on the drawers and that it is weighted--no worries about tipping forward when the drawers are fully extended. Attachment of the casters is very secure at all four corners, but the screw threading could have been better. The only ""con"" I have experienced with this filing cabinet is attachment of the casters was fairly difficult. Definitely requires two people to safely turn the cabinet over.

This is a great, heavy duty filing cabinet for my home office. I did not realize, but it came with both caster wheels and legs so you can make it mobile or not. Only the casters/legs needed to be attached, so set up was less than 5 minutes. Looks great, but it's pretty heavy.

For the first time I have a file cabinet that doesn't tilt forward when I open a drawer! With both of my previous cabinets, when I would open one drawer, the other drawer would fly open on it's own and the entire thing would fall forward...on me! This cabinet is so nicely made this doesn't happen. Also, adding the wheels makes it so easy to move around. I love this cabinet!

This was just delivered. The file cabinet is very nice, well packaged, and includes almost everything. The caster assembly instructions say that there should be caster screws included. There are no caster screws included. I hope they read this and send me the caster screws.

The filing cabinet arrived quickly so that is good. However upon unpacking it I discovered two problems. First the cabinet has a big dent in the top. Second, the cabinet does not have recessed casters as the website described. The casters are completely visible. This was my first purchase with you. Probably my last.

Not worth it. Counter-weight is just a plastic wrapped cement block that floats around freely during shipping, causing all kinds of internal damage. Top and bottom drawers had to be tweaked to line up with each other. Legal folders wont fit because they bend the corners over to complete the drawers and the legal folder attachments wont go back far enough or fit over the folded corners resulting in crooked legal folders to fit . Legal folders wont line up straight. Avoid this foreign made product
