I really wanted this DVD and finally got it. It is an amazing movie with absolutely wonderful special effects and quite a few exceptional actors . I am so happy with my purchase and will definitely buy my future DVD's from Walmart.

TIM BURTON HAS DONE IT AGAIN! This movie will be the younger generation's Nightmare Before Christmas. Tim Burton stayed very close to Lewis Carroll's novel unlike the original Disney animated Alice in Wonderland. Do not be misled however. This movie more closely follows the sequel to the novel "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by actually staying true to "Through the Looking Glass and what Alice Found There". Never the less, this movie is nothing short of phenominal.

This movie is AMAZING. Perhaps slightly scary for the little ones in certain parts, but over-all fun for all ages. It gives a different spin on a beloved story. The DVD is wonderful. There is a special feature about the Mad Hatter...who I happen to be obsessed with, so that was definitely a bonus in my book. LOVE THIS DVD!!!

Like alice in wonderland Love the characters in the Movie

I loved this movie. I thought it was interesting, entertaining, and had just the right amount of dark humor to make it less of a child's movie and more for the 13+ audience. I would not really recommend this movie for small children however (anyone under the age of 10). Some children may like it, but most of the small children I know got bored with it pretty fast. I cannot wait to buy this movie June 1st. I will be at Wal*Mart anyway to have my son's birthday portraits taken and will be picking up a copy while I am there. :)

I think I prefer the original Animated Disney movie of Alice and Wonderland over this movie. The graphics are nice, which may appeal to older kids, but overall I found the movie a bit dull. The acting was okay, even though most of the time you couldn't make out what they were saying. The final battle was just lame and disappointing. This version is a bit darker than the animated version, so it may not be appropriate for younger audiences. A little blood and gore is seen through out the movie as well.

purchased online during black friday sale, when dvd arrived either the inside case or dvd was broken because it rattled. Since I purchased for a gift I had to return to store for exchange.
