So far it seems to be working just fine, had a bit of a hard time getting it to lay flat across the top of the door. I am sure we will have to try to add more before winter and get her to lay down flat. The rest of the door, nice tight fit. Can feel the difference already. I do not think we realize just how much access around the doors the outside world has to us. Definitely worth the cost.

This stuff if wonderful for blocking drafts and cold coming in through my older windows and doors! What a difference it made to our comfort in our house during the cold months in the North-East part of the USA! We keep our home heat in the high 60's, and prior to using Alien Tape, we could feel a draft in high winds. Not anymore! We will not be removing the tape at all, because it will help keep cool AC inside in the warmer months, instead of it seeping to the hot and humid outdoor temps.

My front door in my apartment leaked cold air from top to bottom. When you apply this tape, it overlaps onto the trim, which seals the air out. I used a step stool to start at the top. Very easy to apply. I will continue to use this product.

Very easy to apply. Huge difference in stopping cold air coming from the gaps. I noticed the difference as I was applying to top of the door cold where I hadn't applied tape yet. Average door coverage was about half of a roll of tape. Looking for more gaps to cover. Not noticeable on surface, very clear.

The part of the product that says 'As Seen on TV' worried me a great deal, because my experience with such products is not generally positive. HOWEVER, this product proved to be the exact opposite of those disappointing experiences. IT! IS! A-MA-ZING!!!! And I have had a good test of it, too, let me tell you! I am so happy we installed these before the winter storm. So far, it has gotten down to -18 degrees at night!!!! When it was still significantly warmer than that, I began to notice a miserable draft coming from our bedroom window and also the door. It was pretty awful in 30-something degree weather. Whenever it was windy, it felt like a monsoon of frosty breath was being huffed into our window like some kind of fairy tale big bad wolf. XD Although I was skeptical of this product, the research I did, as well as reviews, pointed to it being worth trying. From the day my hub installed it in the window and door, I could tell a huge different. It sealed up the draft entirely. In fact, even during the winter storm, although the GLASS on our window is freezing, the draft is FIXED!!!! ...And this is probably completely beside the point, but still worth mentioning! I use this tape on the side of the dresser where my son plays with his cars. It stops them from falling off the edge! I found that very useful as well, although I know it's pretty random!!!! XD The adhesive is EXCELLENT, mostly surviving toddler pulling!!! I couldn't ask for more than that! It's also fine if you have to pull it off, though. It does not damage furniture (even though it's not intended for that, remember I've put it on the dresser!). It doesn't take paint off or anything an all. I am just incredibly impressed with this product. I would recommend it for anyone with draft issues. We've since used it to solve other draft issues in the house as well. It works much, much, MUCH better than those window cushion thingies and door draft cushion stoppers that I've tried. I would recommend it to anybody who has a draft they need to fix, especially if the draft is right by their bed as ours was!!!! XD

First, let me say this product works as intended. The adhesive sticks great, but ensure you follow the directions, cleaning the area first with alcohol. The seal helps blocking drafts, and/or keeping out the elements (or insects) from entering your home when applied correctly. Even though the adhesive is strong, it actually is pretty easy to remove if you so desire, without causing damage. That being said, my one complaint about this order (not product) was the ridiculous amount of time it took for delivery. Specifically, the shipment initiated from New York, I live 1 state away, and the shipment went to California to come back to the East Coast. Took over 2 weeks for delivery. Absolutely disappointing.

AWESOME! Easy to install around the doors and windows even for a 80 lady with mobility issues. Clean area - Measure/cut length needed - Apply %26 press….voila! You're done. Clear material makes it practically invisible. And best for me…no high-cost repair man needed.

I love this Alien Tape. I started using this tape probably five years ago to correct a bad draft on two doors in my old house. It's still working just fine keeping the cold out. I am going to put this tape around some windows. it's very easy to install and reposition able.

The tape backing is not at all sticky. It basically just clings to whatever you are putting it on. I can't see it adhering to anything for an extended period of time. I was hoping it was a real adhesive like gorilla tape, but at best it just clings.

I bought this to go around doors and windows to stop a draft. The instruction tell you not to apply to a painted surface , and the mfg, has a liability statement in the box. All my window trim around the door and windows are painted surfaces. A useless product.
