After I washed the tomatoes in alkaline water, you can see the water from the tomatoes. Prior to the alkaline machine, I do have a reverse osmosis and remineralizer from REMIN, but I don't need or purchase their filters because my water is already filtered and softened. The machine is in fantastic working order even if the filter cartridge area is empty. I wholeheartedly urge everyone to use this device.

It appears to work its magic as it spins and spits out water. I've been cycling approximately 1 1.5 liters every day for more than a month. Scale begins to accumulate within the carafe after three to four days, which is unexpected. If you use it to measure water for cooking, don't rely on the gradations (see pictures).
