I love the All clad products, I am kind of maniac of this brand. because its absolutely quality, easy to use and clean every peace. Worth every penny paying for this brand!
I researched before buying the D3 Stainless, Non-stick Frying Pans, and they live up to their 5-star reviews! Happy to have them join my All-Clad collection!!!
I have been using six or seven-inch skillets for my daily two eggs for many years, so I was interested in a somewhat larger pan, but not a ten-incher, This nine-inch pan is a real improvement, especially for omelets. The usual All-Clad quality, even heating, etc., is present. I like it!
I purchased this set of cookware a month ago. I am in my mid-60's and decided I wanted a nice set of matching cookware for the first time in life. I should have done it thirty years ago! Now, if only I could find a reasonably priced streamer set, I would be ecstatic.
Although not a fan of non-stick pans, this one is great. I primarily use it for eggs and tofu. I use my other stainless steel All Clad pans for everything else.
Timely shipment and notifications. Excellent protective packaging. Heats quickly on my ceramic cooktop (faster than the anodized aluminum Calphalon). Handle is not comfortable, but if I position my hand differently (more under than over), it's tolerable.
So I bought these two pans replacing some older All-Clad pans that the non-stick surface was worn out on. One thing I have noticed with the new pans is that the actual metal of the pans is quite a bit thinner than the old pans I replaced. So the thinner metal especially on the bottom means I am burning stuff. I honestly don't know what version my old pans were because there are no model numbers on the old pans. That said the non-stick surface is really good on the new pans.
Decided to upgrade to All Clad after receiving Caphalon non-stick pans a 5 years ago as a wedding gift. Third time using the pan this morning and we were making scrambled eggs. The non stick qualities that were there during the first two uses already seem to be diminishing. We've been very careful when cleaning the pan after use too, this being an expensive investment into a pan and all, and have followed cleaning instructions. Pretty disappointed after having high expectations for this pan.
Scratches way too easily. Using only silicone utensils scratches appeared within first 5 uses. I had used salt and pepper while cooking. Apparently customer service is aware that salt may scratch surface but do not warn you ahead of time. But they happily and riding remind you that it's not covered by warranty.
Eggs stick to the small pan from the very first use. The medium pan is better. I love my all-clad stainless pains, but I completely regret buying these as my previous cheaper pans were much better and lasted a good 5 years.
