I love this frying pan. Perfect for my steak and eggs every week. I wanted to get the set but I couldn't affort it yet. After using this pan, one my wishes now is to have only All-Clad metal cooking pans and pots in my kitchen. Perfect for my health improvement journey. I would like to have their knives too. I hope I can afford all of them soon! Thank you for your crafts. It is amazing!
Bought this pan because I couldn't buy just a single 8" Calphalon Signature to match what I already own, and just "needed" another 8". Very similar with the All-Clad weighing 775 grams and the Calphalon at 672 but I think that difference maybe the All-Clad handle. The Calphalon handle is attached with 3 rivets while the All-Clad has 2, not that it likely matters on an 8" fry pan. Both have lifetime guarantee, both 5 ply and both very well made. Both heated 100 ml of water to a boil on my induction cooktop within seconds of each other. Is the All-Clad logo worth it? I'm not sure.
Due to a previous experience with another brand of stainless steel pots and pans, I was hesitant to invest and concerned about issues of sticking and staining. All Clad was worth it and I've had no problems. The brushed finish is so beautiful and I'm glad to support Made In America.
This is a great product. I replaced an AnolonX pan with this. I get better searing, more precise temperature control and it cleans easier than the supposed "non-stick" without any of the chemicals that come with non-stick. I'm considering replacing all of my pans with D5
Easy to care for but follow the instructions. Heat and cool slowly. I soak it before scrubbing and it still shines like the day I received it.
Pan works very well on my induction cooktop. Heats evenly

Extremely well made. Very high quality. Even cooking
Hi. The first time I used my fry pan I noticed the edge was slightly chipped and scratched. I don't think I caused this: I used a pair of tongs to braise some kale but I didn't rest the tongs against the pan edge, nor did I hit it hard. Disappointed that it is bunged up already.
I have read the instructions before using the pan. When I fried an egg, one side is cooked faster than the other. I inspected the pan carefully and it did not warp. I tried to contact All-Clad but only got to chat. It advised me how to use the pan which is the same as what I read on the instruction. I tried different burners and all of them cook one side faster than the other. Something is wrong with the pan but I am not able to talk to a live person. It is a frustrating experience.
