All-Clad Forged Knives 8-inch Chef's Knife

These steak knives are extremely sharp. Be careful with them. They are made so water cannot seep from the blade into the handle. I always hand wash the All-Clad knives. It is my thought that dishwashing them will dull them. Right or wrong, it only takes a short time to hand wash them, dry and put away. I keep all my knives in the paper sheath they came in. The black handle is riveted and is sure to last my lifetime and the one I have willed them to. Such a great buy!

Superior knives. Right now, as they are only weeks old in my kitchen, they have been used many times and are a delight. My only hope is that they truly will remain sharp. Only time will tell. These knives are nicely balanced and beautiful. The blade is solid at the handle connection so particles won't go under the handle. They will never experience a dishwasher. I wash them by hand and dry, then put each back into the paper sheath they came in. I'd like plastic sheaths but havent found them for sale on All-Clad. Next I will purchase the steak knives. I'm an All-Clad fan for life.

6” Chef Knife is very sharp out of the box and stays sharp. I just purchased one for my sister for Christmas and she loved it. Great knife for someone with smaller hands.

I liked this knife so much I bought one for my sister. Feels great in the hand, blade is strong. Not the finest slicer, but that's if I'm being picky. Slices very well. I use this knife ever day.

Beautiful knife set.This set is of excellent quality. I must say it is a learning curve for my husband as his last set was dull and cheap compared to these he has accidentally cut himself twice.I am so happy that I bought this set for him for Christmas. I would definitely recommend they are high quality and beautiful.Worth every penny.

I have never had nice steak knives. We tried them on ribeyes on New Years and we were astounded. The knives need no downward force, they slice right through the meat, one stroke and the knife blade is against the plate. No more hacking at an expensive cut of meat. Thank you!

This knife is already for me what my mother used to call her ‘good knife'. The best knife I own, right for most kitchen tasks and a great value to boot.

After purchasing a 6" Chef's knife for my wife, I have purchased several others for friends and family members. I appreciate the sharpness, balance, and classic design.

I needed to purchased a new set of knives. This is the perfect set to replace my old knives that were worn out. It is easier to slice, dice and mince vegetables and fruits, and meats with little effort. I also like that the knives stay sharp. This is the best set of knives I have ever owned.

Love this knife. Cuts easily. I never thought I would need a knife this large, but I was wrong. Wish I had bought it years ago.
