I thought it was going to be a thicker form of gel foam, but it still stays cool, and it was less expensive than the ones on Amazon, all in all I'm happy with the product

Our outside dog uses it on occasion …she prefers other places to rest/sleep.

It's not cool if the sun gets to it. We got this to help keep our pup cooler on hot days. He loves sunshine!! He won't use this. Had to coax him onto it. He'd get right back up and leave. It had been in the sun for a couple of hrs. I checked to see if was cool. Burning hot. This happened 2x. I had planned to use in winter by the woodstove where he likes to lay so he wouldn't get so hot. Forget it. I think the gels just feels to weird.

The pad was smaller than I imagined it to be.. It seemed to work well but then it just dried up and the contents seemed to evaporate (!?!?). Until it dried up my dog enjoyed it..

It was totally ineffective. Just slippery piece of material.
