All Natural* 80% Lean/20 % Fat Ground Beef, 4.5 lb Tray

Ground beef isn't exactly the most exciting thing to review 😂 but this one deserves the five stars. It was fresh, browned nicely, and worked great for tacos and spaghetti sauce. The larger package is also nice if you're trying to stretch your grocery budget since I can get several meals out of it by freezing individual portions.

This meat was such a good deal for the price and it had really good texture, barely any grease to pour out the pan after frying for tacos %26 spaghetti. I use it for everything (taco's, spaghetti, hamburgers, beef vegetable soup, ect) its so easy to work with. Its not like the smooshy greasy kind, this has real good texture. Would highly recommend

always perfectly fresh, the meat break apart perfectly or makes the most amazing smash burger. Walmart fresh meats was my initial draw for making Walmart my home grocery store. Never strong, always super fresh and doesn't smell badly. it is a bit more pricey than Meijer but it is well worth every cent

high amount of water and fat. cook in a very hot iron skillet and let the water boil away. i used paper towels to absorb a lot of the fat left. not quite as good as the 87/13 type, but okay for a lot of things like chili and casseroles. i would give it 3.5 stars if i could.

IT IS GOOD TASTING MEAT, I GUESS BECAUSE OF ALL THE FAT IN IT. THE 80/20 GRIND IS SUPOSE TO BE LEANER, IT WAS NOT ALMOST 1/4 CUP FROM FRYING 2 HAMBURGERS. THAT IS WAY TOO MUCH FAT AND WATER. I PAY THE EXTRA MONEY BECAUSE THERE IS SUPOSE TO BE LESS FAT AND WATER IN IT, BUT THERE IS NOT LESS . I THINK WALMART CAN DO SOOO MUCH BETTER. THEY COULD EASILY HAVE LESS FAT AND WATER IN THE MEAT AND STIL. MAKE THIER BILLIONS OF DOLLARS EVERY DAY. THEY WANT TO BE KNOWN AS LOW PRICE STORES, BUT THEY ARE NOT. OUR ALDI'S IS GOING TO OPEN SOON AND I THINK IT WILL HAVE A HUGH IMPACT ON WALNART. MAYBE THEN THEY WILL CHANGE THIER TUNE. I AM DISABLED AND DO NOT RECIEVE ANY HELP FROM THE STATE IT IS SO SO HARD TO MAKE ENDS MEET. I HAVE TO DO WITH OUT SO MANY THINGS JUST TO KEEP MY HEAD ABOVE WATER. WALMART HAS. PACK OF GROUND BEEF AND AFTER IT IS COOKED IT IS 3 LB. 6 OZ. OF COOKED MEAT. THE PACKAGE DOES NOT LIST GROUND CHUCK PLUS WATER AND FAT ALL IN ONE SENTANCE. WATCH OUT WALMART HERE CONES ALDI'S .

Purchased these several times and if you are going to use them immediately fine but I noticed some brown spots on inside of the meat . I do get it delivered so I did see where they sent packs that were very close to expiration dates. I never had an issue with Walmart ground beef and purchased too many to count. I had changed over the years to other stores and since I get Walmart delivery decided to buy the larger ones as it's more convenient. I don't know what has changed over the years but again you must be ready to use it soon. It could be an issue with it sitting until delivery time not sure . The good thing is I am disabled and returning is difficult for me and Walmart refunded without a hassle and I truly appreciate that and I didn't have to store the bad meat in my fridge and possibly contaminate other items. I did go inside the store and purchased larger quantities in Florida and North Carolina for family events and never had a problem but I was present and checked expiration dates.

We have ordered this in the past over the years and it has been excellent but probably the last three orders so the last 3 to 4 months, the quality of the beef has gone downhill, the fat content has gone up to the point where it might as well be 70/30 and it's incredibly watery at times like they're watering their beef to get more weight. I won't be buying it again unless I can physically look at it in the store and judge from there

I've gotten sick the last couple times I've eaten this Hamburger meat and it doesn't matter which store I get it from. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. The only consistency you'll have is getting food poisoning. The outside of the meat will look fresh but the inside is brown and smells horrid.

It was pretty and red on the outside of the meat and old brown hamburger meat mixed in the middle of the meat so you couldn't see it . I waisted my money on three large packs of hamburger like this ! I will never get hamburger here again ! All my other groceries were great and my delivery person was wonderful 👍

I thought I was getting a good deal on 80/20 beef with the amount and cost, but upon cooking and tasting it I was beyond disappointed. It doesn't taste or feel like real ground beef. I don't know if it was or not, but it tastes like it was created in a lab. That's how bad it was. After initially making 3 burgers with it for my family, I had to throw it all out. I'm also not sure if the advertisement of "All Natural" really applies here. Unfortunately, I will no longer purchase this brand of meat.
