⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality Ground Beef! We buy this ground beef all the time, and it has become a regular staple in our house. It's fresh, flavorful, and works well in so many meals. We use it for tacos, spaghetti, burgers, casseroles, chili, and so much more. The 2.25 lb package is a great size for feeding the family or having leftovers. It's consistently good quality, cooks up nicely, and offers great value for the price. We'll definitely keep buying it!
I bought 2 packages of hamburger. This is the first time I have bought hamburger from Walmart, but it will NOT be the last!! I bought it for our camping trip and I have never had hamburger last as long without turning that ugly brown. After almost a week, it STILL tasted fresh, like I had just bought it. I WILL be buying this again!1
This ground beef is one of our favorite staples to keep in the refrigerator because it is so easy to use for all kinds of meals. We use it for tacos, spaghetti, burgers, casseroles, chili, and quick weeknight dinners. It cooks up well, has good flavor, and makes it simple to put together a meal without a lot of planning. I love having it on hand as an easy go-to for dinner, and we buy it regularly.
This hamburger meat has a lot of fat/grease in it. It pops all over my stove which I hate. I used a deeper pot and keep the lid on and it helps. I use this in my baked beans. I drain it really good and put the grease in a jar to throw away (never ever down the drain). It tastes good. I prefer the 93/7 meat with very little grease. Of course you pay extra for that.
Bought the hamburger meat with an order that I purchased on Nov 5 the date on the meat when I started to make a meatloaf tag said it was out of date on Nov 6th today is the 8th could not use the meat for a loaf. Want a refund please. Picker should pay attention to this when they are picking up the food for an order, this is not the first time this has happened.
The price of ground beef is so ridiculous that my expectations can never be surpassed or even met. The 80/20 is closer to 70/30. the fat content is way too high. the last three packages that we ordered, were at least one quarter pound light from their stated weight. it didn't matter whether we ordered one pound or the two point 25 pound , or the four and a half pound. They are always underweight packages. Now I understand why I see people in the produce area , weighing their meat on the scales. That is a very unhealthy practice, mixing raw meat on produce scales.
BE CAREFUL!!! I GOT 1 LB AND IT WAS SO SMALL BUT HEAVY, AND HALF THE USUAL SIZE. FILLED WITH JUNK TO MAKE IT WEIGH MORE!!! SO GROSS WHEN COOKING, SMELLS AND JUST LOOKS GROSS. THE GEN Z CHUMPS ACCEPT IT THEY DONT KNOW WHAT A REAL LB OF BURGER SHOULD BE. AVOID WALMART MEAT AT ALL COSTS!!! CANT EVEN GET INFO ON WHERE IT COMES FROM.
The meat quality in this 2.25lp pack has significantly deteriorated over the last year while cost has exceeded the acceptable cost vs quality ratio. My family was purchasing multiple packages a month and all have tasted foul. Will no longer be purchasing.
The meat was not even red, it was red on the outside, but as soon as you cut in, you could see how it was not fresh. This is the worst place to get me. I cannot wait to start going to Costco.
I used the hamburger meat to make hot dog chili. The meat was in long strands and was extremely difficult to break down into smaller pieces. The meat never browned. I will be shopping at a locally owned grocery store from now on. Walmart use to be a great place to shop. I am sad to see that the quality of the products and customer service at the local level has gone down tremendously.
