APB is a third person shooter where crime is rampent. Enforcers are there to, well, enforce the law and arrest criminals. APB has a very flexible payment plan; $4.99 for 20 hours of Action time(in Action districts, but unlimited game time in Social Districts), or $9.99 for 30 days of unlimited play time. This game is basically a game of Cops vs. Robbers(Criminals in general, basically). There is thousands of players and is constantly growing. Join the game now and enjoy the fun!
Please inform all the Walmart stores to remove this game: APB: All Points Bulletin from their shelves. The company has gone bankrupt and the game will no longer allow users to log in and play, furthermore, it is an online MMO game and does not have a single player (offline) choice so the players can not play the game as it tries to access RealtimeWorld's servers to log in, and their servers have been down for over two weeks now. Here are a few reviews from well known game-info sites that could be used as proof that the game has come to an end. http://www.pcgamer.com/2010/09/16/reports-apb-to-close-servers-tomorrow/ http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/apb/news.html?sid=6276253 Their developer's main website (which you can see their logo on the CD cover) RealtimeWorlds is no longer: www.realtimeworlds.com/ EA games (Whom also has their logo on the CDs) has removed the game from their online store. And www.apb.com (which is also on the back of the game CD) is no longer. So please remove this game from the store shelves, as it is costing customers around $50 to buy an unusable game and EA is only giving them through their live chat operators a $20 coupon code for any other game on their site store. I had bought this game last month at Walmart (In Whitehall, PA. Store #2145), while the game was still up and running, but up until two weeks ago, when the main website of APB had posted a bulletin staying their goodbyes, so I am one of the unfortunates that had bought it. (UPC code is posted up top).
Game if fine fun to play but is shutting down
As of 09/16/10, an announcement has been made by the company that APB servers will be shut down by the end of the day with no plans to release the content free to play. Therefore, I highly recommend against purchasing this game.
You need to remove this product right now. You are making people buy a game that is free to play. After 3 months of this game releasing they shut down all server and a new company owns it and it is now free to play. Just like Team Fortress and DC universe which i have not seen selling at the stores.
