Heavy duty unit. There are stops on the steer to prevent the wheel from over turn which would make scooter unbalanced. Brakes can be set. Very adjustable for height. Fairly lite. Tires need to be topped off every few days but pump is included. Large rubber wheels make use more stable. Far better than using crutches around the house. With your knee on the scooter you can easily stand hands free in front of a counter or sink. This makes independence much safer.
Brakes not so good Earl
this is a life saver for me. the wheels are large and will roll any place I want to go . It is stable as well. Great quality and eazy to fold for transport.Nice piece
I love this scooter. I received it 3 days after breaking my foot and it definitely makes me able to get around the house much easier than crutches. I'm able to get my own water and coffee, do dishes and even some laundry to relieve some help my husband otherwise had to do. The turning radius is rather large but since scooter is lightweight enough, no problem lifting it up and over to make necessary turns. I haven't tried it outside yet (we live rural, no sidewalks) or tried putting in car for portability so can't speak to that. Must be careful though and take it slow.
works great. The only thing is make sure that you also buy a cushion to go over where you put your knee.
The steering is stiff and you have to constantly use WD40 to stop it from squealing… it served its purpose… make sure and get an additional gel pad, your knee will be sore in about 3 days without one..
Put it together today so my husband can have it in a few weeks ,and the air pump don't work And one of the tires was flat and the vow stem was pushed down in the tire….smh
This is not good for outdoor use as it's advertised. Even trying to go across the lawn is a struggle. Going through crushed stone is extremely tough. I already own a unit that is considered to be an indoor scooter and it actually works just as well as this one for outdoor use. Plus the turning radius on this is horrible. Have to back up and go forward multiple times for normally simple turns. It does seem to be well constructed though. But it definitely doesn't work for the reasons I purchased it for, ie: outdoor use. This is better suited to be used on smooth surfaces, like concrete or tar.
This scooter has many issues. The tires wont hold air. The handlebars wont stay tightened. When you make sharp turns to the right the tire gets stuck in the frame. The basket in the front of the scooter wont stay attached and l had to zip tie it in place. This scooter was 200.00 dollars, definately not worth having all of this trouble!
Low quality item , i cannot even remove or adjust seat after first instal because the screw hole is damaged
