Excellent addition and look for my new Winshester Maple 70 Rifle. Looks great and makes packing it real comfortable and helps with the weight on my shoulders.

Solid and grippy. Not great for crossbows.
The sling is very grippy. I like that. I bought it to use on a crossbow, and crossbows have a not so clean shape. The sling felt tight, even with the stock fully collapsed. I'm still deciding whether I will return or not. If this were a rifle or AR I don't think there would be a question. I'd keep it. It is solid.
