Frame for packing Game Meat out of the field
Very nice frame for field dressing game.

Its good!
The frame has been heavily modified to accept a dog pack. My experience with back packs is dated but considerable (GA -> WVa AT '98, LT '98, GA AT '00). The pack has a good technical harness but the frame center cross piece had to be removed due to contact with my back. The netting in that area holds a 1" exercise pad scrap to take its place. The pack was missing a trim out plug but electrical tape corrected that. The right side hip belt buckle broke on the second use but tying the tails of the tensioning straps together after adjustment fixes that. Bottom line: its a good carry and the dog likes it

Not Recommended for real hunting situations
This pack can hold some weight but the lashing system is terrible and it's extremely difficult to hold quartered meat in place. Constantly dealt with the lashing system not tightening as it should which made the hike out to my truck after harvesting a Muley buck extremely difficult and frustrating. I do not recommend this pack for anyone attempting to pack out an animal. Go with the Cabelas pack!!
