We bought this to verify the humidity level in our apartment before purchasing a humidifier. Showed how dry we were. After getting and using the humidifier, we continued to use this monitor to make sure the numbers match the sensor on the humidifier - always - 1. Good price and great results.

The meter can be sat down using the built in kickstand or use the magnetic method. I received this complimentary product in exchange for my review. I do recommend using the hygrometer.
