The soft material will comfortably protect your shotgun without being too oversized. The value of this case is unbeatable compared to similar cases. Lightweight and good quality

The padding is thick enough to protect your shotgun from minor bumps, and the soft exterior keeps things lightweight and easy to carry. I would not use this for air travel or long term storage/traveling... but for hunting trips or quick transportation it's a great option.
