Allewie Queen Size Metal Platform Bed Frame with Victorian Style Wrought Iron-Art Headboard/Footboard, Black

I ordered this bed from this company and could not use it. Walmart would not accept the return but the company bent over backwards to help me get it returned. Will be ordering from them again. Thank you for all your help and the quick response to get this item returned!!

So I purchased this bed over its competitors because it just seemed sturdier by description and in photos somehow (I think the price point accurately reflects this as well). I’ve made a wise choice. The bed is not only attractive once assembled, it IS sturdy and has heft—which I both appreciate. Saddled with a new mattress, it slept without any creeks or other unwanted sounds. It also has non-slip gripping strips to help secure the mattress in place. They work as designed. My bedroom now has a bright and cheerful feel about it, and I owe it all to this frame largely (bed linen aside). If you’re thinking of a bit of retro vibe and old fashioned charm (don’t forget the strength of the bed frame!), please consider this bed above its counterparts online. This definitely rates 20 out of 10 stars.

I wished it could have been delivered quicker. I wish the slats were closer together or a solid piece. I have a memory foam mattress and I have had to purchase a solid surface to place under my mattress for complete support.

Put together myself, very easy and very therapeutic haha. I waited to make this review to give the bed time to settle. I’ve moved it around a few times after purchasing the rug and it hasn’t shown signs of being loose. I’m very pleased with this bed. My favorite part is the height! Takes me back to childhood.

I put it together by myself with ease. I love the look of the frame and it’s held up great so far. The platform has adhesive strips that are supposed to “hold the mattress in place”, but I feel they are more of a nuisance. (If you don’t want to use them, I’d recommend leaving the backing on and not exposing the sticky part… you can’t go back once it’s removed, haha) Whenever I change the sheets, the adhesive makes them difficult to remove and I rip off some of the sticker. I don’t think they’ll be sticky forever and hopefully the mattress will stay put even without them.

A bit taller than I expected; drop to floor is about 14 inches. My fault for not looking carefully enough; hoping the addition of a bed skirt will improve the look! But really solid, easy instructions, good looking bed. Can't comment on the likelihood of it shifting on the frame yet but hope that isn't an issue.

The only reason I have a 3 for assembly was it had the wrong assembly manual. It would have been easy with the manual. It is a nice frame once assembled.

I like my bed but I was dissatisfied with the delivery service FedEx delivered it I'm disabled and handicapped didn't even knock on my door left a 52 lb package taller than me outside I had to find someone to bring it in for me very dissatisfied with FedEx but other than that everything else is fine

The bed itself, we love. The fact the box came clearly previously opened and several nuts and bolts missing was disappointing. We had already discarded our old bed frame. Thankfully, my dad taught me to hold on to hardware and we had bolts and washers we were able to supplement with from a set of kids bunk beds. It went together quickly once we figured out if we had enough parts to do it. Very disappointed in that aspect. Other than that, the bed itself is very nice and sturdy, especially for the price.

Now that we have had this for a bit I feel comfortable leaving a review. I purchased this for my son and at first thought the idea was good to save space and it didn’t break the bank. Now I wish I would have just spent the money for better quality. This bed is not stable and literally looks like it’s going to break with any movement whatsoever. I personally don’t feel safe with any of my kids being on this. Unfortunately I can’t return at this point otherwise I would.
