I don't know what I would have done-- that's not entirely true-- I would have had to go back on some very heavy antibiotics-- if I had not discovered this product. Great way to get in high dose of Allicin without eating bunch of garlic daily. This product is eliminating the white patch on my tongue that nothing else would rid me of. A couple of drops before bed does it. I also add it to my families nose and throat sprays and no one is the wiser. I then keep them in the fridge to preserve potency :)

While some of the garlic-allicin taste may be less pleasant to some. I know it is anecdotal to say so, but it has helped greatly with booting my seasonal allergies out and catching germs in their tracks. When I felt I was coming down with something, I put one drop in each nostril (one side at a time and hold the opposite nostril closed) and then gently sniff and allow the drop to travel down the back of my throat via the nasal passage. I did this daily for a couple days and the offending germ seems to have been immobilized. Note, I do step up my other immune boosting supplements at the same time. So, all combined, hit it from all angles and it does the trick.

My naturopath "prescribed" allicin to help with my digestive issues, and I thought this was the product he meant, but instead he meant something much much stronger (the tablets/capsules). So this is a great product and the taste is manageable, however I needed a much higher dosage than can be obtained with the drops

While the product seems quite authentic - because you smell the garlic once the bottle is opened - it really is too small to get a sense of real effectiveness out of it. Granted, I was trying to make an anti-bacterial cream out of some of it for topical application, the tiny volume coming from it didn't make it possible to get any traction on the job. And if you think of it, if one wanted to get the benefits orally, an organic garlic bulb might be more potent -- just cut a clove into pill sizes and swallow with water, might be even easier for those put off by garlic's smell than it would be to take the drops in this liquid as it would smell anyway. (I do it all the time when feeling unwell, it works to stave off the flu).
