i didn't realize they made locators like this. It takes hours off of trying to find where everything hooks into. It can be a nightmare especially trying to figure out someone else's work. Thanks for a great product!
Got erratic reading straight across panel not really sure which breaker it is
Circuit breaker finder works GREAT!! You can adjust the sensitivity and you will have to each time you use it but it is not a big deal. It is a great tool for homeowners to find circuit breakers. Well worth $30.
It do everything, you get everything,a big saving to, name brand, save $15,on this...
Works Had to find gf receptacle breaker. Easily label your breaker box. Doesn't come with batteries
It's a nice kit and everything but the battery was there. Then again, the kit was labeled as "battery sold separately" so... It even comes with a pretty decent carry case and plug protectors for leads that aren't in use. I know most professionals won't use them but they're nice to have for us regular guys who tinker with more power than we should.
Didn't know until recently that this tool even existed. Sensitivity control slightly fiddly, but easy to figure out. I tested it on a circuit I already knew; tested other breakers nearby and was easily able to determine the necessary setting. If the tool is not to be used for awhile, remember to remove the battery; there's plenty of room to store it in the nice little case in which the tool comes.
Unit takes a little getting used to, but works great. "Volume" control requires some tweaking, working with to get used to but allowed me to isolate a faulty circuit in record time. MUCH faster, much more reliable than the old "hunt and peck" method. A true time saver, and very affordable.
As soon as we received this yellow %26 black electrical breaker finder, we put a 9V required battery in the receiver then plugged in the transmitter and waved the receiver across our home's breaker panel and the correct breaker was determined. We plan to map several of the breaker boxes we have since the various electricians who remodeled our house didn't identify the breakers compared to the outlets and light circuits. A very handy tool which is simple and works for the common person.
the product seamed cheaply made and the range was intermitent and very sketchy not something you'D TRUST TO NOT BE ELECTRICUTED FOR
