I purchased a purple/mint for myself and a blue/yellow for my brother for the iPad Air 3 (2019). It looks just like the picture. I have only used this case for a few days, but I think that it would provide protection for an adult or mature person who would be less likely to drop their iPad or will use their iPad mostly at home. If you're planning to take your iPad outside or if a child is using it, I would suggest a more protective case. It provides protection from scratches and scuffs, but I doubt it would prevent the screen from cracking or the iPad from denting if it had a really heavy fall. The curved ends do have added protection but may only protect from a fall from maybe a bed or table, not from the balcony outside. All the cutouts are precise, including the Smart Keyboard connector and it is a TPU case. It also has a slightly raised lip, so if the iPad is placed face down on a flat surface like a table, the screen would not be scratched; especially if there is not screen protector. It does not add too much bulk to the iPad, so the device is still relatively light. It also came with a complimentary microfiber cleaning cloth and a stylus. Overall, I would say this is a good case for causal use of the iPad.
