Almay Brow Pencil, Eyebrow Makeup, Hypoallergenic, 803 Universal Taupe

Been looking for a replacement for another big cosmetic brand (not drug store brand, so more expensive) that was reformulated and changed for the worse. I tried a ton of others and nothing came close to the natural brow look… that is until now!!! This eye brow pencil will give you a natural look if you take the right shade. My hair is medium-dark brown, so naturally I purchased the brown.. went on nice but definitely looked done up and was too dark more , it was black not brown.. not the look I was going for. So I went down the dark blonde shade… which was a much better match. Why call it dark blonde? lol It's more a medium brown and the perfect neutral colour without looking harsh.

I picked the right thing the first time! I really like this one! I never used an eyebrow pencil before but the rich brown was perfect in color and I also really like the two different ends. The sponge softly fills in my eyebrows above my nose and the other end softly draws in the outer ends. It looks so natural! I got one for my bathroom and one gor my purse.

The brow pencil was easy to use and very pretty! I highly recommend this pencil to anyone looking for a professional look

I have very sensitive skin and I have to be careful about any cosmetics. I use this pencil did not read in my forehead or cause any irritation on my skin.

This is very dark, for dark blonde. The tip is quite large, and it's hard to get it to blend in. I'm somewhat disappointed in this product. I'll probably try different brands in the future.

I think that if that if the stuff inside had not been broken to pieces it would have been a nice product. However, when I 1st opened it a big chunk fell out %26 I couldn't find it. The rest is also broken to pieces. Little bit I've been able to use I like.

Disappointment coming from Almay, whom I've trusted for years. I tried this with such hopeful expectation with sensitive skin. So far, that's the only plus I can give this product; is no rash or breakout. Staying power another plus. 1) Color: The Universal Taupe for once isn't green like most brands but it is DARK, very dark for a taupe and not suited for blonde/fair unless you like a very heavy brow color. 2) Formula: First use looked like a child's melted crayon. Even after trying to refrigerate the product it is smeary, goopy, and impossible to avoid heavy coverage. Wasting about 50% of the application taking it off with a cotton swab to make it look somewhat normal. I've tried so many brow pencils, pens, and powders over many years. Epic fail on this one sorry to say.

I loved the pencil for about 5 uses and then the crayon fell out of the pencil into the sink. I did have it above my brow making upward marks but never thought the crayon would fall out. If I buy another I will know to keep it at an angle that the crayon points up, never down.
