Almay smart shade anti-aging makeup, medium meets deep

I was selected by the Spark Reviewer Program to test the Almay Smart Shade Anti-Aging Makeup. This was my first time using any of the Almay Product Line. I have always used other name brands when it came to my makeup. I was very happy with the Almay Smart Shade Foundation the very first time I applied it. When I first squeezed the makeup out on my finger ( I use my hands instead of an applicator ) the makeup unexpectedly came out in a shade of white , but then as I rubbed it on my face it started blending into my skin tone perfectly. It only takes a small amount to cover , so the one ounce tube should last quite a while. I must say that I liked it so well, that I think I now have a new brand of makeup products. I would highly recommend that you give it a try.

So I am writing this review for the almay smart shade anti-aging makeup. This one was the medium meets deep in the 1.0 fl oz tube. This is a great product. I have used this brand for years. I decided to try out this to see if the color would work for me. The color was just a little off for my skin tone, so I have since bought a closer match of the same brand. It covers up age marks very well. I will also mention you need to make sure to rub this in until you get the desired color. The initial color is different then if you continue to rub it in. It starts of a lighter color. I would recommend this, and have recommended this to all of my friends. This is a great product for a great price!

This Blend to Reveal Color makeup foundation is very easy to apply, and it works well with my complexion. It comes out of the tube in a grayish tone but blends well into your facial color as you apply it. The more you blend it into your skin, the better the overall tone you get. My facial powder applies smoothly over this.

When I picked out this new makeup foundation (Almay Smart Shade Anti-Aging Makeup) I had no idea what I was getting. But it said Anti-Aging so that was for me. So when I went to apply it and saw that it came out of the tube in a very light grey color I was amazed, and scared. But I applied it to my face and it instantly started to change its color. It matched up to my own skin tone! It was fabulous. I have sensitive skin so I just stood there waiting and waiting and waiting, for some kind of a reaction to the new makeup. I got nothing, absolutely nothing. It felt very smooth and it covered everything I wanted and needed covered. So I finished applying the rest of my makeup and was so happy with the final results. I kept looking to see if there would be any change like the color fading or caking or just anything, but it stayed on very nice all day and evening. I only had to apply more lipstick. I am totally thrilled with Almay Smart Shade Anti-Aging Makeup. I feel this is an excellent product and anyone will be just as thrilled with it as I am.

I usually have issues finding stuff that matches my skin tone but this one is the closest match so far. I do also like how it goes from white to your shade when you blend it into skin. I also like that it minimizes fine lines and pores and is anti-aging. It is natural looking, it is not greasy feeling or streaky and it doesn't make your skin look orange like other makeup does. I also like the small thin bottle which makes it easier to carry with you anywhere. I got the medium meets deep which is good for my Italian skin tone. I recommend this product for the color as well as the added benefits of the anti-aging, fine lines and pore help that it gives.

Well it definitely does what it claims to do. It comes out of the tube a light greyish color but I worked it in until it nearly matched my complexion exactly. I'm not a makeup wearer, so I don't know if I was supposed to apply a moisturizer before or after the application of the foundation, so it had my face looking dull and dry. I wanted to try it since I'm getting older and I'm sure I may need to wear something besides a moisturizer sometimes. I didn't look horrible, but I like the natural me better. I give it a thumbs up for taking the guess work out of matching your true color. It was pretty much spot on with that.

I have never used this brand before until last week, i now have a new brand i love. I wasn't sure how well this would do since my skin is light because of the winter. I comes out whitish grey then blends in so good with your skin and you don't need only a few drops here and there. So this will last at least me a long time . It feels nice and smooth on your face doesn't smudge off and last a will before i just touch up with powder . I have oily skin and this make up holds up to that . I think i would go one shade below what you want as i think i could have gotten away with aa light , have a med and at least takes that pale winter look away. my face seems to feel smother . I would recommend this it has good coverage and only need a little that goes a long way

Almay Smart Shade Anti-Aging Makeup, Deep Like Me 1.0 fluid ounce is different than any makeup I have ever tried. It comes out blue gray and turns into a color that makes me look tanned. Not orange but tanned. It is not moisturizing, shiny or greasy and dries to a matte finish. I have had no irritation or break outs from this product. The reason I gave it an average rating is that it rubs off especially if you perspire. I enjoyed trying it and for some circumstances, I will wear it to cover uneven tones on my face. Also, I received the makeup from Walmart's Spark Reviewer program without any cost to me.

Almay smart shade is suppose to be different in that it matches your unique tone once applied. But, because the shade I got was much too dark, I cannot speak on whether it does this or not. I think that is a cool concept and see how when you squeeze it from the bottle, it does not come out in a skin tone. Though it comes in a smaller sized bottle, a little seems to go a long way. It gives good coverage but isn't the best foundation I have used. It goes on in a light layer and doesn't feel heavy which is nice, so it's easy on the skin. It stayed on well for about 8 hours then it started to look a mess, like most foundations do. I would say this is a good basic foundation.

After using the Almay best blend forever make up I was expecting great things with the smart shade anti aging make up. I was deeply disappointed. It comes out of the tube in a weird silver color. After applying it I looked ashy and pale so I kept it on and blended more thinking maybe eventually it would even put. It never did and it made my face itch. The only upsides to this make up for me were it lasted all day and it's easy to squeeze out of the tube.
