These bowls were a good size. I love large bowls for soup or salads. These will be good for any items of a large portion. There were no tops/covers to them. After the fact, I realized that covers would have been handy. But as they stand.. they're excellent items.

we made french onion soup and they were perfect. actually the have a served us well for soup and snack etc.

These 4 bowls have some really great qualities, such as aside from being dishwasher and microwave safe, the bowl handles do not get overly hot after microwaving. The bowls are generous sized and can be used as a hot dip bowl as well as soup or pasta bowls. They are uniquely glazed and beautiful in appearance, except for one bowl. It looks like the glaze was messed up somehow when attaching the handles to the khaki colored bowl. Because it still has all the other great qualities even though visually it doesn't look as nice, I decided to keep them. That is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.

Beautiful but too small for soup

I thought they were bigger.

Loved the size, design, and handle style of this bowl set. But, we've only had them 5 months, and one of the rims is chipped. Thes just dont deem durable. I expected bowls/stoneware to last years.... not months. And, it's past the time I can return them. 😞
