First off the start kit comes with everything you need to install even if you cut it in half and have 4 6” strips you have plenty of connectors. They are very bright. The sticky tape had held well for now, time will tell. I have these on our aluminum crappie boat. I used 1 12” red strip and 1 12” green strip for the front navigation lights hooked up to a toggle switch. They look amazing! I cut the 2 12” white led strips in half making 4 6” strips and put two up front and two in the back as courtesy lights while rigging up at night or loading the boat. Im very impressed with these led strips! I would give them 6 stars if I could. The 12 volt auxiliary plug was a nice touch for people who don't want to wire into their main electrical , it even has a toggle switch on it as well

The Alpena Max LED Light Strip 24 inch Starter Kit in blue is a plug and play set. I tested this out using the 12v power plug and seeing what this would look like under my dash. The lights have a 3M adhesive backing so I wanted to make sure I had them exactly where I wanted them before removing the backing and applying the strips. The blue lights are bright and I like that the packaging has a "test me" button so you know exactly what you are getting. There are two 12 inch strips in the starter pack and more can be connected to them to make whatever length you want. The set also comes with an extension cable, two EZSeal caps, heat sink wrap, two butt connectors, and a spade connector. Since I used the 12v plug I didn't need to use some of the parts, but those can be used to connect to another power source/battery instead. The strips are easy to connect together and pull apart. I opted to use one strip on each side rather than connecting them together. The pictures on the packaging are easy to follow to get it set up. The print instructions are a bit small to read though. I didn't do any of the modifications, but there are instructions for that as well.

I got the Alpena Max LED Light Strip 24 Starter Kit in red to put on my motorcycle. The kit comes with everything you need to install. The LED strips can be cut to the length you want if you need them shorter and the LED strips already have the 3M tape... just make sure you clean the area to install with alcohol. There is also a 12v plug/switch included. I dont have a 12v plug on my motorcycle and had to purchase a waterproof toggle switch and inline fuse. The LED lights are very bright and exactly what I was looking for. The install was simple and my motorcycle is now lit up at night to make me more noticeable. These lights are great for anyone wanting to put accent lighting on their motorcycle.

I received this item free to write a review. These lights are awesome and very easy to install!! It comes with everything you need to get your lights shining! I chose to place mine on the inside of my car along either side of the console in the front. They look so nice! The set comes with 2 x 12" strips, 2 x EZSeal LED strip end caps, 1 section of heat shrink tubing, 1 x spade connector, 3 x wire extensions and 2 x butt splice connectors. It is compatible with almost all 12V DC systems and easy to install with high quality 3M-foam tape backing on each strip. I can't wait to add more LED to my car!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Saw these and thought they would be super cool under my dash board really easy to install love how you were able to see how bright the product was before installation with the handy little button on the top

When I first received these lights I was not sure it would give off a lot of light because they looked small. I decided to put them in the center console cubby in my car because it doesn't have any light, it is pretty deep, and it has a 12 volt outlet for the adapter. I used one strip and cut it in half and it gave off plenty of light! I am very pleased with it. Easy to install using adapter and attached tape. Directions were easy to understand.

Amazingly bright for such small LEDs. I love the color- it's so rich and blinding. These lights are very easy to install. I got one set in blue and one in red - they're both rich in color. I just wish the strips were longer so I could cover my area inside my car.

I received my Alpena Light Strip from the Spark Reviewer Program. This is the Alpena Max starter kit in white. It has 2 12" strips with a total of 36 LED's. These are very bright! (please see my pictures). I have placed these strips on the floorboard of my backseat. I used the adapter that it came with. I did not need to purchase anything to get these lights to work where I wanted them too. The strip itself was long enough. The 12-volt adapter has an on/off button on it, so they don't always have to be turned on. The adhesive was very strong, I feel as though there will not be a problem with this light strip coming un-done. And if I want to, I can purchase the extender light strips if I want to add on to these. There are so many options and uses for these LED strips, they can also be used on the interior/exterior of your car, truck, boat, RV, motorcycle, etc. So have a little fun and give these Alpena LED light strips a try on your own vehicle!
