Alpicool 12V Refrigerator Car Fridge, Portable Refrigerator with Dual Zone and Independent Control, 12V / 24V DC Portable Freezer (-4? to 68?) RV Compressor Fridge Electric Cooler for Camping

After being a bit disappointed with (and returning) some fridges by some well-known brands, I decided to take a chance on this inexpensive fridge, fully expecting it not to work well and to end up returning it. To my surprise, this little fridge actually works. The dual zone control works well., and it does not use a ton of power either. I wish it had a bit more insulation, as it works pretty hard during hot hours, but it makes up for it by being quite lightweight, small, and very energy efficient during the milder times. Out here in the desert summer I can run this 24/7 with nothing but a little 288wh power station and a 120w solar panel. I did need to calibrate the temperature control, as the small side ran a little warm, but Alpicool email support was fantastic in providing details and instructions. I have the 33qt version, and there are not a lot of good options out there for a true dual zone/dual lid fridge in this smaller size and light weight. I've only had this fridge for 3 weeks so far, but it has held up well through my series of tests.

Great design, light, the two lid design is so efficient too. Easy to use digital controls, _very_ deep chambers, quiet... Even in a cooler and more mountainous state, a purchase I wish I'd made some time ago. Highly recommended.

i had a smaller single zone that bit the dust so i opted for this dual zone. so far have only used inside the house and the temperatures are all over the place. set for 32 and ive seen it go down as far as 26. thats the refrigerator side. my other one had an app which i miss with this one

The temperature inside the unit does not sync with the temperature set on the contol panel. The temperature variation changes. I have requested help from the manufacturer three times in emails and phone calls and get no reply. I would not buy anything from Alpicool again. DO NOT recommend this product.
