So far so good . My battery died a few times but that's just because I didn't unplug the cooler . It's fine when i unplug it while the car is off . It's good for trips
Liked it can keep temps close to freezing. We pack some already frozen items and after 36 hours everything was still frozen. Even the bag of ice cubes we took to keep our drinks cool on the drive looked like they came directly out of our fridge. We kept it plugged in during our drives and plugged into the wall at the hotel. The only con is that it is relatively heavy since it has the cooling unit built inside. Would be nice if it had wheels. Other than that, it is nice it can go down to freezing and you don't have to find ice.
This has worked flawlessly as a fridge and a freezer. Gets cold very quickly, and hold its temperature.
Works very well an I love that it comes with a regular 110 plug and a plug for my car.
Couldn't be happier with the Alpicool C9PT mini compressor fridge. Fits in the footwell of my Outback and can plug into 12v port on my wagon or solar battery. Cools down so quickly and stays cold, even freezing in outside hot temperatures. I never see discount prices for the Alpicool. Price was decent on Walmart. I used this for a month of wagon camper travel and plan future travels with it.
I wish I had bought this when I first started camping. I tested it on a short camping trip and it kept ice frozen solid and kept ice cream perfectly. No more melting slushy ice on trips. It is light enough to pick up and move easily. It works well as described, and is very convenient.
definitely cools or freezes if you like. there is no bluetooth but did find an app i believe that really didnt help. i decided to compare temp setting on the unit to a reliable external temp meterwith a thin wire type probe. i found a difference of 8-10 degress fahrenheit. so in other words i set unit to 50 degrees when my meter read 40. i would recommend buying a temperature gauge with thin wire so you can close the lid and do your own comparison. all in all though i am quite pleased with this and would recommend
I like the freezer/fridge combo. Just wish it had a built in battery so it would stay on when not plugged up. Wheels and a handle would also make it 5 stars for me.
