I am 6'6" tall, size 14 shoe, and hands to match. Many XL and even the XXL gloves sold on line are weirdly small. These XL's are perfect for me, would say they run true to size. They are very warm for the price and great value. I bought extra pairs so that when I wear them out I won't have to go through ordering and returning gloves that don't fit

Alpine Swiss "Waterproof Snow Gloves" SG1840 from Walmart for $24.99 (list price on alpineswiss.com $35). Size SMALL almost PERFECTLY FIT my (Chinese man's) hands. My palm circumference is 7 1/2 inch, middle finger length 3 1/8 inch. Only the joint of the glove between the roots of pinky and ring fingers could be deeper to touch the V of my hand. All other three fingers and thumb fit perfectly. High quality construction with maximum features (just not touch screen compatible).

These gloves are almost near perfect. If they were a little more durable a tad more water proof they would be perfect. But they are so nice I am buying another pair for next year just because for the price they work very well.

They are a good fit and made well. Only thing they do not keep your hands warm.
