Altec Lansing Hydra Jolt 2.0 Everything Proof Wireless Magnetic Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Periwinkle Blue White, IMW1202-PERIWT

I tried an Onn medium speaker and, frankly, it was pretty disappointing, so I picked up this Altec speaker on sale for $30. The difference in audio quality is night and day. For such a small speaker, this thing really packs a punch! I had never used an Altec speaker before, but after using this one, I'll definitely be keeping a closer eye on the brand. I primarily use it in my semi truck, connected to my TV, and the battery life is excellent it easily lasts all night. The built-in magnet is also surprisingly strong and works great for mounting it where I need it. If you're debating between this and an Onn speaker, go with the Altec. It's a no-brainer!

This speaker is built well. Very solid. Sound is very good quality. Pairing was quick and simple. I rated the battery 5 stars because i have been using the speaker for several days and haven't needed to recharge yet. Could be subject to change if I get a better sample and it doesn't live up to advertising. Purchased on a sale. I would recommend.

I don't know what people expect from Bluetooth speakers these days but this one (Altec Lansing) checks all the boxes for me. I bought one years ago and loved it. Whenever I played music around my friends, they'd compliment the sound and ask what brand it was. Great sound and pretty loud in my opinion. Bluetooth is super easy to connect to. I didn't need to buy this speaker because my older one still works great but when I saw it on sale, I couldn't pass it up either. I knew the quality and value was there. I didn't know it came with a built in magnet. Magnet is strong, awesome and convenient. I posted two pictures of it attached to my fridge. It also comes with a carabiner ring that's kinda cheap but who cares. I haven't submerged it under water so I can't say how waterproof it is. I mainly use it while cleaning and can't wear my headphone because of the kids. I've owned several portable Bluetooth speakers and I always come back to this one. I think you'll be happy.

It's a great speaker with great surround sound effects and the weight of the speaker is heavy so it is well put together.

The build quality and materials are very good. totally waterproof and dustproof. Easy to use, self pairing. Clear, easy to follow (English) instructions. Works with my Windows computer and my iPhone. Magnetic mount so it sticks to your refrigerator or shade canopy rail. I'd do it again!

For the size it's a very nice speaker with sound louder than I was expecting. Have four that I now have paired together.

Speaker is perfect. Compared to the hydroblast, this version is MUCH better. It's smaller, more louder but the bass is weaker. However the Blast 2.0 is full of bass but it muffles the treble and it's heavy and bigger. This speaker is light, the clip it comes with is perfect for belt loop of pants. Battery lasts out the box! Perfect. Especially for it's size! A little bigger than a beer can but weighs less!

No mounts where included as mentioned in the description. No clip no mount . All I got is the cable to charge it. Disappointed

This item had issues with staying connected by bluetooth and quit working entirely after a couple of weeks. I had the protection plan. They replaced it once. The one they sent had exactly the same issues. I exchanged it through the manufacturer twice more because of the same issues. I think they consistently replaced it where it would work for a week or a few days, then the same issues presented. I just want my money back.
