Easy to Use

Kafeene13 April 8, 2013

I bought this digital frame because I recently went to Disney World and didn't want to buy 400 frames to display my photos. It turned on as soon as I plugged it in, and when I inserted my SD card, my pictures automatically popped up and started progressing in a slideshow format. So easy! I have since set it up to turn on at 9am and off at midnight, which was optional, but turned out to be easy as well. The resolution is great! Highly recommended.

Fantastic digital frame!

dmk131 October 8, 2013

I paid $89 for a Pandigital frame from Bed Bath & Beyond a couple of years ago. The frame was ok -- stand wasn't great and the picture size was smaller. It started freezing on one picture and flipping other pictures. I read some of the reviews on the Aluratek and decided to take a chance. The frame is FANTASTIC. My husband took it out of the box, put in the SIM card from the other frame, and that was it. Picture quality is amazing! I'm definitely getting another one!

Much smaller than it apears in ad.

pop7up7up December 9, 2013

If you really think about the size then you might not want it. We wish we had used something in the room to get the feel of the size before we ordered it. It is hard to see the pictures from across the room. Would be great for a small area. "Bathroom" We got it on sale. For that price it was a good value. Would not get this one again just because of the small size. A few dollars more is well worth the bigger frame.

Great Digital Frame for all.

Easy set up, easy to load photos, videos, and mp3 music. Great price for the features. Comes with a remote, the range on the remote isn't the best, but it does work. I would recommend this frame to my anyone who is looking for a frame that it simple to use.

Has good features

hairspray54 May 4, 2014

But as I read and re-read the article was written as an 8 inch screen, that was what I wanted when it came, it was a 6 inch screen, Grrr. I would like to see it written and explained as a 8 inch total size frame with 6 inch screen. So myself and anyone else would know just the exact size of the "screen"...very important.

Video issues

Krudkutter June 27, 2014

This frame had great potential for downloading YouTube videos. I wanted to get guitar lessons into my flash and USB drives and set it up near my instruments to watch and listen as I practiced along with it. The instructions do not tell you that the videos should be converted (service call) to AVI and be set to TV quality to work. I've spent 2 days trying to download a converter that would not make unrelated changes in my PC like stealing my browser and home page or adding bloat ware, etc. If I could find a way to simply download video to my PC, change it to an AVI file and send it to a memory card, I would give it a five star report. At this time, I'm thinking of returning it to Amazon. I'm a USAF Korean war vet, retired, tired and frustrated.

Bargain Digital Photo Frame

CorporateGirl5 April 29, 2013

This is a great digital photo frame for the price once the photos are loaded. It is difficult to find a frame with internal memory at this price. The frame does not respond well to the remote and the controls on the back panel are cumbersome. But once the frame is set up, the slide show runs smoothly and the photos are sharp.

Great price, easy to use, poor viewing angles

Cigne October 11, 2014

I purchased two of them, as gifts. The plan was to load some old pictures and scans. It was easy to setup, but the viewing angle is very poor; you have to be directly in front of the frame to see the image clearly. reloading the images in portrait format instead of landscape helped; the viewing angle is wider when using the frame set up in portrait.

I liked the picture frame I think is cute was easy to install but unfortunately arrived with damage.. when I open the package I noticed the screen has parts coming out and is making some noises of loose parts inside . So I'll return and I'll buy other one . I hope it comes perfect.

Very hard to get it going

curious53 June 12, 2013

This picture frame was very temperamental...it was very hard to get it started and if you turned it off it was very hard to get it working again and I don't think the remote worked at all......I returned it............I don't know if it was defective or just very poor quality.......when it DID work.....the pictures looked nice..........
