[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was truly concerned with the smart eyes tech but its not been an issue at all! This stove works much better than the higher end one I had that went out in a year! I love this stove only 2 things one no clock and no oven light but I can live without those.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove was just what I wanted, except it has too much black instead of the stainless steel I ordered. Two items - One- make the sides of the storage drawer a little higher, so the drawer would be deeper. Two- It does make a strange ticking noise while using the oven.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Range about a month ago. it works quite well. I was told that the new coils had pressure sensors by the salesperson, but the technician that came for a warranty repair told me that they are temperature sensors. My biggest problem is that the manual that I downloaded from the Amana website for the stove is only an installation guide, not a true manual to operate the stove, and trouble shoot any problems.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a stove, I don't need anything too fancy, so I found this one. The oven door has a good seal and stays closed, unlike the old one I had that would sit open slightly and let the heat out. The burners on the stove top are big enough to heat my large frying pans, they get hot pretty quick, and cool down pretty quick when it's turned off.I know I could have bought a stove with all the ' bells and whistles ', but I don't need anything like that, I am very happy with what I purchased, and it works great! It was also fairly lightweight, so it was easy to move and install!
I just purchased a month ago. Good price! I liked that it didn't have glass in the door, easy to clean, can't ever really see through them anyway! I wish it had a timer, and a notice that the oven is heated, and ready at correct temperature, silly not to have these! The stove, otherwise, works great!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using since August. Basic, functional, hot-wire-burner stove, which I wanted. No frills, no electronic stuff to go wrong with expensive repairs. My complaint is that it is *very poorly* insulated and so very inefficient. The top and sides are very warm to the touch when the oven is on. Wish I had leveled up a bit for something of better quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's Affordable & Functional, but that's it…Large inside, but It never dawned on me that an oven wouldn't have a click or Timer either…Sats “Glass Front” but solid white, so confusing. Doesn't Light up inside so can't see good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new Amana a few weeks ago and noticed that sometimes the heating elements on the top of the stove turn off. so I'll be cooking and adjust the setting from like 5 to 3 and come back and it's no longer hot. I put it back on 5 and it heats back up..I think it has to do with having to PRESS the knob into the unit before selecting the setting? I'm not a hundred percent sure, but it's disappointing that it isn't clear why the element stopped heating when changing heat levels.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall rating is 0. The stove is the most basic model but I still expected it to perform at a decent level, which it does not . The oven temperature has to be set a minimum of 25 degrees higher than what you need and you have to check it constantly, so cooking anything that needs an even temperature throughout the baking time is quite a challenge. The heating elements seem to have a mind of their own, stove top burners set on high with a tea kettle full of water cut back on temperature for a time before coming to a boil. If I could have a do over, I would take my 50 year old GE back and put a new element in the oven and keep it instead of buying this range. I sorry but that is my honest review and I am a seasoned cook and baker.
I would like to know when you're cooking on the top high I had it on high. Why does it cut off cool my grease all the way off where I couldn't find the chicken what is wrong with the stove? Why do it turn off and then heat back up for the top eye on the stove that is really weird I am not a fan of this. Please explain to me why
