6.5 cu. ft. Gas Dryer with Wrinkle Prevent Option and 3 power levels

Great item. Easy to use and value.

This is the first time that I have owned an Amana product. To date, I have been exceptionally pleased with my dryer. It dries completely and quickly to the setting that I choose. I am most pleased with how quiet the motor is! I don't even know that it is on, which is very nice for when unexpected guests arrive while I am doing laundry, and the dryer would be in operation and it is not bothersome or annoying because the machine is extremely quiet. I will, from this point on, remain a loyal Amana product customer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dryer to replace a used one that we bought when we moved into an apartment for the 1st time. The used one stopped putting out heat. It is amazing how quite this dryer is. Sometime we forget that we are doing laundry. Dry's the clothes beautifully. Clothes seem less wrinkly as well. Definately would recommend to some one one looking for a good, quite dryer.

After it was installed, I was amazed at how much faster it dries my clothes than did the last one. It is so roomy on the inside that the clothes have a lot of room to toss around in. The automatic feature is already saving money for our family. We never have to add drying time to the load. The dryer dispatches the moisture quickly, then enters a wrinkle-prevention phase of the cycle. Even if I cannot get to the load immediately, I have found that items like my husband's knit shirts are not wrinkled when I do get to them. Best of all, this was far from one of the most expensive dryers in the store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the dryer for a few weeks. I asked for a basic dryer with nothing fancy. This meets my expectations. My only disappointment is that it doesn't have a buzzer when it stops. I am happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased before the new year. The handle on the door broke before we could even get it installed. I think they should reconfigure the door with a built in handle and not a cheap piece of plastic. Otherwise the dryer gets the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SO FAR SO GOOD. CHECK WITH ME IN TEN YEARS. I REPLACED A TWENTY YEAR OLD DRIER. The back extends out past the cabinet, It does not recess well in space available. The drier I replaced was flush. My bad!!!

I originally purchased a GE dryer, it wasn’t available so I accepted the Amana as substitute since I needed it rush. Not same quality, longest cycle would not dry clothes completely. Does it job, but not as expected.

We bought Amana® 6.5 cu. ft. Top-Load Dryer with Automatic Dryness Control NGD4655EW in November. I am disappointed in this dryer for three reasons in particular: 1. There is no "medium" heat temperature setting. (only warm and hot) 2. There is no audible sound or buzzer to notify me when the load is dry. 3. I have to iron my clothes now, even the permanent press ones. :-(
