Amana ADB1400AGS 63 dBA Stainless Dishwasher with Triple Filter Wash System

This dishwasher has simplified controls that get the job done in a straight forward manner. Easy to set up and it runs much quieter than our old machine.

It is super quiet and has a light that tells you when the dishes are clean. I was excited to get a dishwasher, as I did not have one before. I was more than thrilled that this one exceeded my expectations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this lower end model after my high tech KitchenAid dishwasher died after less than 4 years of infrequent use...failed within two months after purchase followed by at least 4 service calls for various computer parts to be replaced. The Amana is a bare bones basic model, but I want a machine which washes dishes--not one that answers the phone and prepares dinner. In other words, the less computerized and the more mechanical features = less headaches and hopefully, longevity. Note: I purchased the SS --it looks nice but it is very noisy but dishes wash and dry well...much better than the KitchenAid which I paid almost 3x more for the NAME...

Always looks on the inside like it hasn't dried at all, water running down the inside door and sides. It is very quiet. I run the sanitize wash and it takes something over an hour to complete, not a complaint, just longer than I thought it would be. Dishes are clean. Wish it had a dry only to see if that would help.
