Amana ADB1400AMB 59 dBA Black Front Control Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed this dishwasher. I've completely filled it 10+ times with a variety of dishes and pans. This unit has performed perfectly. I also love the lower sound levels from my previous fridgeaire dishwasher I had for many years. I'm hoping to get 10+ years from this unit. I recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 months ago. So far it is doing its job fine. My household only consists of 2 people, so it doesn't get used on a daily basis. I have owned other Amana appliances and have been very satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the Amana dishwasher works good but the heating element doesn't dry them all the way. Also when I pull out the bottom rack it keeps going and you have to be careful it doesn't stop. Door is low and there's nothing to stop the rack from crashing onto the floor. In those ways, it's poorly designed. My last Galaxy dishwasher was much better and lasted 14 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit works well, only downside is the settings are difficult to see as the unit is next to an a joining cabinet. If the controls were on the left side instead of the right,it would be more convenient for us. But possibly our situation is unique, but we are very satisfied with the performance.

Overall a very good machine. Fairly easy to install. Cleans really well and runs very quietly. I really wanted a few more programmable features, but it is great for the price range. Yes, I am a female and yes I installed it myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 13 months ago and, it works well enough. Dirty/"stuck-on' dishes & glasses, must must have "crustiness" removed before machine washing (machine doesn't scrub). Other than that, I can't knock it. Like I say ... "It works well enough".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit feels very cheap and plasticy. The normal cycle takes a long while to run. It's only moderately quiet. The utensil basket is too large and takes up too much space.
