Amana AMAP061BW 6000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with Dehumidifier

Honestly, when I first bought it, I installed it and it blew nothing but hot air, but to find out that a nut came loose for the fan. Put the nut back together. Turn it on blue. Nothing back cold the company who I got it through but willing to do a refund and return, but after fixing that one small problem, I've been using it now since November and it's been keeping a trailer with no shade pretty cool

the air conditioner is great, i live in an apartment complex and the handyman here, well lets just say i not sure he knows how to do his job. our AC is not working right, have reported it but no one has come to fix it. the little unit cools the whole apartment. so glad to have it.

Due to the window unit going out in our small cottage that our daughter and her husband live in, we had to invest in a new one. We read the reviews and decided to give it a chance. Price was right at the time and arrival time was awesome! They are very pleased with the unit.

We really like our new A/C. It is quieter than the one that I had. Works great and cools kitchen and the living room area great.

i love that its NOT made of all styrofoam inside.. i love that its made in the usa..i love that it cools like its supposed to.. months later.. i love the nice quiet running.. not silent . but easy to sleep to..

Amana 8,000 btu works good For the need I have. Trying to give the home A/C some relief on really hot days. I turn the Amana on Eco mode at 72° %26 it helps the regular unit from running so much. Great for these 100° day temps.

Easy to install and cool entire home 1200 ft.² purchased for my mother, the remote that came along with the unit was very easy for her to utilize. She loves it. Amana is a great product and will last a long time Her old Amana air conditioner lasted 19 years her old Amana air conditioner lasted 19 years!!

Unfortunately when unpacked the side was dented pretty badly. As we had a very warm house and we are oxygen depended people and our installer was coming over in an hour., returning it was not an option. It works well , even though it doesn't look well from the outside. The photos show the damaged side and the good side. Not pleased with care of handling

I bought this about a week ago. Very disappointed. I had a different brand 7000 btu a few years old AC to cool about 450 Sq ft. It would only cool enough to maintain the temp in the room at about 80 in 95 degrees weather. So I bought this Amana 10000 btu that is supposed to cool a room this size. It does not work any better than my older 7000 unit. I would return it but I am disabled and have to have someone do it for me, which is hard to do.

Delivered March 17th, now May 6th out of return range and is not working correctly. Runs 5 seconds then cuts off, then tries again and sometimes runs ok other times stops again.
