My wife and I just started playing pickleball this year and bought these racquets last week. We have used them twice and they are solid racquets with a good feel. Lakeshore customer service and contact has been excellent. They sent me an email asking me to contact them if I had any issues and also sent along a great PDF explaining the rules and terminology of pickelball. So far, I really like this product.

Shame on me for not doing my research. It's too heavy. Though the ad says "light weight" this paddle is not. It weighs 9.2 oz. I'm new to the game & bought this one, which was actually 2 paddle2 and 4 balls, thinking it was a reasonable price & other reviews indicated satisfaction. Other players allowed me to try their paddles and I immediately realized the difference. My subsequent research revealed weights ranging 6.4 oz & up. So now I'm on the search for a new paddle. The company gets a 4-star rating however b/c they were very generous when I said I was not satisfied & they offered me to keep them for for a discount. I decided to do that since I could use them with family/friends for a pickup game now & then. I would suggest the company drop the description of "light weight" from their ad.

My wife and I decided to be snowbirds this year and went to Florida to escape the winter. Seems everyone down here was playing pickle ball so when it Rome...... This is a great kit. Paddles are nice and has everything you need to get started. PROS - Nice price, includes everything you need. CONS - I wish the handles were a little slimmer but this is not a big deal, especially for a beginner. Some of the other players said these were "indoor balls" and preferred to use their balls they brought over mine. I could tell a difference but which ones are better...??? I don't know. SUMMARY - If you are just getting started, you can't go wrong with this set. I used them and I was beating everyone's pants off. OK...so they were 80 years old but hey, I won!

We are beginners but paddles worked well - good price to set up a couple. Haven't tried the balls yet as the facility we play at provides some...We have now purchased 3 sets of these to outfit our family and are happy with their performance - much better than using the wooden "borrow" paddles that our facility offers.

We are new to pickleball and love the game! We are athletic and play tennis so this new sport was easy to learn and we were quickly hooked! It's a great social activity and fun for all ages and skill levels. We bought the Signature pickleball paddle set and are thrilled with our purchase. The paddle handles are incredibly comfortable to hold, the faces are bright and colorful with hues of pinks and blues and the sweet spot offers the perfect feel for control and placement of the ball. This set is perfect for a novice or advanced Pickleball player. I have now ordered another set so that when company visits I can drag them onto the courts to play doubles. The paddles, balls and carrying bag work beautifully. The electronic rule book was also very helpful.

Paddles are great, balls are a little soft/flat - not bad, but not the best. Good for playing someone who is slower than you. All in all, the best deal I could find turned out to be better than I expected.
