Ambiance Gallery Wood Picture Single Frame - Parent

I was framing a pastel painting on hardboard. A challenge requiring bracing for non movement and spaced matting to allow for particle droppings (forms pocket). I needed depth to allow for this procedure. This frame was well made and deep. Perfect. Also, I wanted the piece to stand out. Frame is simple and sleek, allowing for that to happen.

These are gorgeous frames! Worth the price for solid wood frames. The acrylic layer makes the piece very lightweight and can be easily replaced with glass if that is something you prefer. I especially like the way the corners are notched with wood, and it gives the piece a stylish look.

I am so happy with these frames. They are well made and beautifully packed for shipping. I am keeping all the packing materials for storage or travel to art shows. I got the natural wood option which I like very much. Everything necessary is included. My pictures were framed in 5 minutes. Thanks!

These are great overall, I would like to see more consistency in the application of white wash in the white wash frames. Some are whiter than others making it difficult to group them. The wash is better when it shows a little more of the natural wood color beneath

I needed a frame with a deep enough rabbet to frame my oil pastels on Pastelbord with Econospace spacers, plexiglass and backing at a reasonable price. This Ambiance Gallery frame provides plenty of space and didn't break the bank. Framing oil pastels has always presented a problem for me, but now - problem solved! Ambiance Gallery is my go to brand!

These real wood frames are cost effective and versatile because they will fit different sized canvases and come in a variety of colors. For my landscapes the Espresso works the best as there is a bit too much red in the other browns for my work. I also love the small sizes that are available.

I frequently buy these frames, in all their various colors, because they compliment both traditional and contemporary art work. I only gave four stars because I wish they also were available in sizes 9"x9" and 10"x10". I also wish they were available with or without the plexiglass. I do appreciate the craftsmanship of the frames themselves, as well as the fact that they are made of solid, real wood.

Every frame I've ever gotten from Jerry's has had surface damage, scratches and nicks, etc. I really didn't want to ever order frames from them again, but was having trouble finding anything in these non-standard sizes, so I caved. Sure enough, they're damaged as usual. Going to have to sand and re-paint everything myself.
