It was only three days after I received and installed the item when is severe storm went through our area and within 20 minutes time it recorded 536 lightning strikes. Very impressed with this equipment.

Nice addition to my WS-2000 weather station
Don't really know how well it works, since I will have to wait until we have some lightning. I do have a handheld tesla coil, and it does pick up on the discharge, so I anticipate it will work just fine.

Ambient Weather WH31L Lightning Detector
I have been using my add-on lighting detector for over a month now. It works great. It shows the number of lighting hits and the approximate miles away from my location. It was very easy to add it to my base unit.

WH31L lightning detector
WH31L lightning detector, works well with my new WS-4000 from Ambient weather. I hung it up in a window indoors for now, had to change 2 settings, indoor setting and dip%234 had to change for sensitivity, and it seems to work great on my dashboard. My WS4000 picked it right up as a sensor.
