The camera is small and has a usb type C to power the device. I like that I can leave it in my office and turn off all lights to the camera so it doesn't distract or attract attention. I did have an issue when I opened the window as the sunlight was causing the camera to turn on night vision and turn off every few seconds. I was able to use the app to turn off night vision so that solved the issue. The App is fairly easy to use and I like AI detection and people detection. I love that you can add an SD car to save locally. The resolution is good. I can see everything clearly and being able to move the camera is game changing. The alerts when people are detected are fast and the video steam comes in clear and it's like no delay. The built-in speaker is nice and loud.

This is my second camera from amcrestI really love how easy the setup is and how quick the connection is. amongst many other cameras that I have amcrest cameras has the quickest video feed availability without any delays. the app is very user friendly, great value for money.

The 4MP resolution offers a clear, sharp video, which is a step up from my 1080p cameras. The human detection works well and helps cut down on false positives from my dogs or random movement. The pan/tilt functionality is responsive through the app, and the two-way audio is clear. Setup was straightforward, and connecting to WiFi was painless with the Amcrest Link app. The night vision performs well in low-light conditions, easily covering my hallway. The micro-SD card slot is conveniently hidden inside the black camera body, highlighted in green in the image below. The mobile app is functional but could be more polished. I would like to be able to turn off the Amcrest logo, but still keep the day and time. That feature is something that most cameras can do. I also feel the camera should be able to rotate downwards, a little bit more. I have the camera in my laundry room, and if I could get it to move downwards by 1cm, it would be perfect. For the price, this camera offers a lot of value. Between the high resolution, smart detection features, and remote control capabilities, it's a great choice for home monitoring, especially for keeping an eye on pets, kids, or general indoor security. In my case, it was to watch my dogs while I'm at work, as they tend to wait for me to come home in the laundry room.

I have been loving this camera! Our dog recently had surgery so I was using this camera to monitor her while we were away from home. I have never has the need for a camera that has the ability to move around and see different spots around the room. But this was essential for this! Additionally, being able to have audio and communicate was a game changer. Since then, I have moved this camera around to different locations when I have needed it for a specific purpose. There is a slight delay when moving and communicating, but it is within reasonable limits. I have also found the app easy to use and share with family members. This camera has been an absolute treat to add to my home security suite!

perfect cost efficient ptz camera super easy setup... only thing id like is faster refresh higher res and google home support but its good for the money

I love this camera! It's so useful and has great picture quality. It tracks motion and the app is so easy to use. If you are looking for an inexpensive high quality camera for security purposes or even as a baby monitor or something, you can't go wrong with this at all!

received my camera very fast without any problems. the camera was exactly what I was looking for. it is very easy to setup. I downloaded the app and was easily able to connect it and start live viewing and motion detection viewing. I really like that it is type C connection. notifications are quick when I set it for motion detection. I am able to keep an eye on my dog. also able to see if anyone is in my home. I can move the camera 360 degrees manually. the camera itself is very light weight. the camera quality is very good. i am able to read off words from a paper on the table.I used double stick tape to put it on my wall. so far I'm very happy with this security camera.

I'm really impressed with the Amcrest AL-P401W indoor camera. The 4MP image quality is noticeably sharper than my old 1080p cameras, and the night vision is surprisingly clear even in a pitch-black room. The setup via the Amcrest Link app was quick, and the human tracking feature works great—it follows movement smoothly without a lot of "false" alerts. I also love that it has a built-in siren and two-way audio, which adds an extra layer of security. For the price at Walmart, this is a fantastic value for a PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) camera. Pros: High 4MP resolution (very clear video). Smooth Pan/Tilt control and AI human tracking. Dual-band Wi-Fi support (works on 2.4GHz and 5GHz). No monthly subscription is required if you use a MicroSD card. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable indoor monitor!

Very affordable and high quality camera. The AI features are a big plus to minimize the amount of false alarms.

Small and easy to set up. Instructions readily available to get the most from it. Great picture quality and near instant alerts when activity is detected. Definitely worth the price.
