I'm new to this product but it had good ratings. I like that it's discrete. This was for outside ant control, it seemed it was safe for other wildlife to stay away from it, easy to use. Hopefully will be effective. What brand has been in the past, but this packaging is different. It seems better
Worked great and fast. I had ants in the cabinet, on the counters and in the sink. I put these out late morning and by nighttime, no more ants. Very easy to use and the price was good.
The Amdro Ant Killer Bait Stations effectively eliminated a small pavement ant infestation on my porch. Within just a few hours, I noticed a group of ants reacting to the bait, a clear sign that it was working. By the next day, the entire infestation had disappeared. I'm very impressed with how fast and efficient this product was!
it looks to me like the traps are working every year around this time I see these big black ants in my house not a lot but it's every year around this time these seems to work for me so if it isn't broke don't fix it I re buy these every year and they do the trick I put one in my foyer I put a couple on my window sills
It's sugar ant season again, and I hate them with a passion. We've used another brand for years, but I saw Amdro and wanted to try it. The bait traps have a hole on the top. Usually, I have to cut them to open the trap. Upon opening the box, there was a gooey leakage on two of the ant traps. Some got on my fingers. It says to wash/rinse your skin for 15-20 minutes, which I did, but they leaked in the box. I can't recommend them.
Called the company after my hand got sticky gel on it when opening the box. After reading the warnings on the box, I called the number on the box, and the representative said that this happens often when the box gets too warm and the gel melts. This seems like a design flaw, and I will not purchase these traps again. I was advised to throw out the affected traps and run my hand under water for 15 or 20 minutes to reduce skin irritation from skin contact. Thankfully, I didn't have any reaction, but I was disappointed that I had to throw out 3 of the 4 traps, and that the bait could so easily be accessed unintentionally
These do not work due to the little lip on the edge of the trap the ants just bump into it and walk right around it. I even tried taking a piece of the dropped cat food that's attracting them and putting it right against the edge of the trap and they still did not like climb up into the trap so these are totally ineffective. I'd get a refund if I could, but it's not worth my time in trouble. My cat showed more interest in these than the ants did. No she didn't touch or eat or lick or anything she saw it hiding back in the nook where the ants are coming in and was trying to reach it but couldn't.
Placed these on our kitchen counter. Ants walked over them, around them, and on rare occasions, in them. Months later, no change in the amount of ants on our counters. We installed a new kitchen window and found the colony in the wall, directly opposite where these traps sat. It was only after we sprayed the colony that we got rid of the ants. This product was completely ineffective.
Doesn't work, split the four traps between two small areas and there are still ants, they all just walk around the trap. Doesn't seem to have any effect on them whatsoever.
Theses come ready to use. Just take them out of the box and lay them on the floor. I was expecting to have to activate them or something, but no. You can see the bait through a hole in the top of the bait. I order 2 boxes of these. None of them worked and I did exactly as the directions said. I ended up using the old faithful the "spray bombs" where you leave the house for 2 hours and then come back and air the house out. That worked as usual.
