Amdro Mole, Vole and Gopher Blocker, Plant Protecting Rodent Repellent Barrier, 5 gal.

The Amdro Mole and Gopher Blocker is a great idea, especially for planting shrubs and small trees. I am often hesitant about purchasing shrubs due to all the ground critters here in West Ky. This item was right on time for me. I had purchased a beautiful blue hydrangea shrub at Walmart and was so hoping I hadn't thrown money away due to ground critters. I received this item the same day and so far, the shrub is spreading out, looking beautiful, and has not lost a bloom. By the way, the Amdro blocker does come in different sizes. I received the pack of two 5-gallon blockers. It was the perfect size for my hydrangea. I am going to use the other one with a blue prince holly that I will be planting soon. The Amdro blockers are very safe and very easy to use. These are a stainless steel mesh that surrounds roots of the plant. Ground critters can't get through and will turn around and go to your neighbors yard (ok kidding about going to the neighbors yard :)). The instructions are on the back of the box and very simplistic. Simply remove one of the blockers, open into bowl shape with seam side down. Then place your plant in the center and roll the sides up around the root ball. Lastly finish planting and make sure the top edges of the blocker are just above ground level. TaDa!

We had a mole destroy our flower beds last year. The mole tunneled barely below the top soil, and ruined all off our plants, flowers, and greenery. I'm not sure why it (they) targeted our foliage on different sides of the porch, because they destroyed the beds without eating any roots or plants. We had a hole dug to plant a sycamore tree, and the mole targeted the tree hole as well. Honestly, the destruction was irreparable for the beds. So we decided to fill them with soil, and try again after we figured out a plan of attack. We have never seen the signs of burrowing before this happened, and in the last year we have not seen any more tunnels. There are two stainless steel, five gallon mesh pieces included in the package.I decided to save one of the mesh pieces for the sycamore tree we are planning on planting in the fall. The mesh pieces fit in a 5 gallon hole, so this will be the perfect size for the small tree we want to plant. The mesh is stainless steel, so it should not rust. I am using the second mesh piece to form a barrier around a new flower bed. I cut the mesh into sheets to form a wall 8 inches into the soil. I found the mesh cuts easily with scissors, and fit into the soil around the bed. I have no doubt this will keep the mole out, and allow the plants to stay intake. I haven' seen any signs of the pesky moles so far this year, but if they return I feel confident my vegetation is secure.

The amdro mole, vole, and go for blocker is perfect to use for small shrubbery. It protects the root system from burrowing animals to allow the shrubbery to grow as it should. It eliminates the need of worry when you put your shrubberies out about animals burrowing into the roots. Great product for anyone having trouble with these irritating little animals.

Amdro Mole and Goper Blocker for Planting is the best idea for keeping you Garden without gophers ,moles etc This product is guaranteed to work for establishing your landscaping garden or simply placing the fruit tree in ground. If you have problem with gophers, moles or voles it is good idea to use this product , especially if you are a nature lover and do not like to kill the animals. This product will not harm any wild animals it will repel them to go around newly planted tree or shrub which will give chance for plant to establish the root base to grove. Eventually this product will dissolve back to the earth where it comes from because it is made from iron. I'm green fanatic and personally I do not like to place any extra unnecessary chemicals to repel or poison the animals to protect the newly sodded fruit tree so I really like this product idea. Durable, Easy to Install, Functionality, Good Shape, Great Quality, Multi Use, Strom . If you're a garden person like I am, you will love this product . I highly recommend it.

WOW did not know anything about Amdro Mole and Goper Blocker for Plants.. but they have been a life/plant saver as we have an abundance of moles and chipmunks this year causing havoc on plants

Seams like a good idea and material seams strong enough to do the job these moles will tear your yard up so this I hope will help in the long run so far tree is still ok

We put this around flowers we had that something keep getting into and so far we have not had any problems with the flowers getting into.I would recommend this .
