I am really pleased that I chose Amdro Quick Kill Outdoor Insect Killer Concentrate to review. It arrived at my door the day before I was heading to my hunt camp for turkey season so I just threw it in the truck to take with me. Sure glad that I did since this spring the camping area was loaded with carpenter bees. I had a hand sprayer so I mixed up the concentrate in it. I did not measure but I would guess that I made the solution a little stronger than the instructions state. This is a big plus when using a concentrate. You can mix it to whatever specs you want so if it doesn't kill what you want it to kill you can make it stronger. I began spraying those pesky bees and was killing every one of them. See the pictures. The Amdro killer works great and is super simple to mix up either to the manufacturer specs or your own. You can mix it in a hand sprayer. You do not have to apply it with a tank sprayer. It comes with a cap that doubles as a measuring cup. The 32 oz bottle can make up to a full gallon. It does kills bugs on contact. I only used it on carpenter bees so I can't say that it will kill over 500 insects, but it did kill the carpenter bees fast. I've only had the product a week so I can't verify that the product keeps working for up to 3 months. Another big plus is that the product did not have a strong, insecticide odor.
I haven't had much chance to use this yet but the other day I discovered a wasp building a nest. I immediately grabbed my bottle and mixed up a batch in a hand spray bottle, adjusted the nozzle so it would reach the wasp and nest and boom the wasp was down and out. To me that is impressive! I've never seen anything take care of a wasp as quickly.
It seems every spring /summer the return of the tiny "sugar ants" appear as usual and the best way to prevent there return is the use of a good outdoor insect killer. It all begins outdoors with the little kritters finding there way, somehow someway, into your home, and in my home, its the kitchen. My wife loves her coffee with sugar, and she tends to leave a few granules on the counter top, and tell me how these ants find these few grains of sugar and then before you know it the whole army of ants are streaming in and out of our kitchen window down the brick wall disappearing into the yard to there hideout. Not no more, Amdro sent me a 32 oz bottle concentrate Quick Kill outdoor insect killer. This bottle will make up to 32 gallons of liquid formula depending on how much "strength you use". Filler cap has measurements printed on the inside but hard to read due to being black on black. Just mix with water, follow instructions and use with care. I have a 2 gallon sprayer that I use weekly around the house and around the base of my fence line and just with one heavy spraying everyday for 3 days around my home, I'm sugar ant free as well as there insect buddies. This stuff works, no more critters coming to find even the tiniest of crumbs, on our counter top, or floor in and around our home. Kills over "500 insects" and I'm pretty sure they are "all listed" on the instructions "booklet". Depending on outdoor weather, product should hold up to 3 months, if not re-apply.
AMDRO killed all the ants and cockroaches in my house. This product is helping me a lot to get rid of the insects in my house. I liked so much!!! Thank you!
there's nothing I didn't like about it the stuff worked wonderful I mean it's it's good stuff I definitely recommend it kills the bugs dead dead
Used product before works well
Excellent product. My yard was infested with mole crickets. After the first application, birds were feasting in my yard for several days.
I have purchased this outside insect killer before it is great. It works great to kill mosquitoes, ants, flea, and other bugs from out side. I have 4 dogs and I spray the yards for bugs all the time.
I found this a little confusing as to how I should mix it. I googled it and found that about 1 part concentrate mixed with 6 parts water would be sufficient. I also saw people use the cap as kind of a measuring cup but there are no Ounce indicators or anything so I just eyeballed it. I put it in a little spray bottle and sprayed it around my plants, around my back patio, and on my front porch. The smell is a little strong but I expected that. I'm in Florida so we have a lot of pests. I notice my plants are getting attacked so I tested this for 5 days and noticed it had slightly helped. I had some gnat like bugs around my cushions and almost all were gone. I did see one still alive though. I may not have made it strong enough or maybe need a couple applications but it's not going to wipe out every single bug. I recommend it, but it's not like a godsend or anything.
Is a dead one. I have lots of little ants in my backyard along with the usual spiders. You can't put a foot down without hitting a little anthill. I spray the outside of my house and yard with Amdro. If I do see other bugs or spiders, they seem to be dying or dead. So it certainly seems to work well for me. I have a little dog and as long as I wait until everything is good and dry, it is safe for her outside. It's not a "spray once-kill forever" type of spray but as long as you use this every couple of months or so, you'll be pretty well bug free. I can recommend it.
