America: The Story of Us

Had to purchase this documentary after I had viewed it a year ago. It really shows the brutal truth of who we are and how we got here.

I'm a high school social studies teacher. My students really enjoyed this movie. It held their interest and it complied with Virginia's SOL standards. I would recommend this movie to any social studies teacher. Buy it. You won't be sorry.

I couldn't beat Walmart's great price, although I would have paid more for it. I got this as a gift for a friend for Christmas because I love it so much. Very inspirational.

WOW, this is a great series to watch and learn how our AMERICA came about. It is well worth the watch and good for kids to learn about the history of america. This series should be in all schools for kids to see and learn about this country.

This is a three disc set that takes the viewer from the days prior to the American Revolutionary War to the millenium in America. It is narrated by men and women of today in roughly 45 minute segments so is easy to view when time is limited. It is very informative and interesting with good photography. To the History Buff I would say it is a "must have." A very good value for the money.

I had seen this program on television when it was first released. I am a teacher and bought this to help supplement some of the material I cover in U.S. History during the school year. Super excited to use this. It will give the students a better sense of what they are learning than just reading it from a book.

My son is 13 years old and loves this movie!

This DVD was made by the History channel and is a great overview of American History. If you ever wanted to learn more about how American came to be, this is a well done version of history.

I wanted the DVD's (America:The Story of Us) for a birthday gift. Time was important but so was the full collection of all the DVD's. Some places sold them separately, which would have been very expensive, and some stores sold these for almost double what Walmart had them for. So, no brainer. Thank You very much for 1. Having them at a very reasonable price. and 2. Mailing them to me when you said you would so they arrived on time. They were loved by the recipient.
