I was pleasantly surprised by these skates. Very comfortable, and a great skate for a great value.

So far we've only tried them on, we haven't used them yet. They were fairly true to size for me and my nieces (I got us each a pair)...They run about a half size larger I'd say, but I think that's going to be perfect so you can wear thick high socks with them to avoid blisters. I wear size 8.5, after reading reviews for this same product on Amazon I chose to get a smaller size of 8 because people reported they were a tiny bit big. They certainly fit on my feet fine and for some people this would be a perfect fit, but I think I'll prefer a 9 so I have plenty of room for two pairs of big cushy socks to avoid blisters. I guess it's a preference though, I tend to like my shoes loose over tight. And I'd recommend high socks so it doesn't dig into your calf. They appear fairly well made, especially for the price. I'm no expert in ice skating but I'm confident these will do the job just fine and I imagine will last a couple years at least.

Very good value. i received much better quality skates than i expected for the money spent. the lining is softer and thicker than i expected, but does not interfere with fit. i got a half size larger than than i would a fitted shoe, to allow for warm socks
