American History X (BD) [Blu-ray]

Good movie overall. There is a message to it. It wasn't what I was expecting based on the title and cover art but a friend got me to watch and I was glad i did.

Loved it but the audio volume is soooo low.

I have to agree with Justagamer.This movie is awesome!Even though it's rated R,this movie should be viewed by todays youth.There are parts that are graphic,but it's also a reality of todays society.A must see movie for everyone!

Good movie, but a rough watch.

This is a classic you must have in your collection. This isnt the best bluray... but at such a low price its worth adding to your HD selection.

Note: This rant isn't about the movie/ content therein. Its an amazing movie. Where to start? The first thing I noticed was the case. The flimsiest, cheapest feeling case I think I've ever held. Not a huge deal but it was immediately noticed upon picking up. The second thing that was observed was a price sticker on the shrink wrap.... $5.99... I bought this for $10 but it was being sold in store for $5.99... Awesome, thanks for that. I tear that apart and open the case as carefully as I could because it felt like it was going to break only to find a clearly used disc that no one even bothered to clean. I wiped it down and put the movie in to see if the thing even worked. I didn't have high hopes at this point but it "worked". There's no menu, no time code. The movie just starts playing like some oldschool vhs. There isn't even an ad like a bluray logo or something prior. You can skip chapters but if you want to rewind or fast forward to a specific time stamp you're outta luck. I've never seen anything like it. I wouldn't care that much if it were not for the fact that I was clearly oversold on this dirty, obviously used, disc. Ridiculous.
