It worked well. I had a really rusted blade, so I did use a rasp (file) on it first to get a lot of the rust off.

Excellent! It brought a neglected 20 year old 16 inch reel mower back to life. Now the mower works great! Cut almost an acre of grass and the lawn looks beautiful. Highly recommend it if you need to sharpen your reel mower.

This item is very easy to use. The directions are well said and easy to follow.

The handle is a little bit light and stretches easily making it harder to turn the blades. The hardest part of the sharpening process is getting the blades adjusted.

Crank handle didn't fit a Lowes Task Force Mower. Followed youtube video reversing gears and sharpened ti that way. Seems to have worked well.

works great for the gret but the handle won't fit

the instructions were not exactly right. i had to use a wrench to get the screw off. then, there is a little pawl you are not supposed to let fall out. it fell out 100 times. i could not get the crank handle on over the pawl. i may have gotten a faulty handle. i even tried to hammer it on and it never got all the way on the reel shaft. i managed to sharpen the blades with the handle not on all the way. im not sure how sharp i got the blades yet. i wouldnt call this a nightmare, but it was not fun. i will have to do it again and i am not looking forward at all. i am female and this may have something to do with it. not sure.
