American Red Cross Emergency Preparedness Basic 3-Day Backpack

It has most everything you would need for a basic emergency from cuts and bruises to a power outage. The bag is large enough that you could supplement the contents with special items for your particular needs. I'm going to exchange this kit with the one that I carry in my truck.

After opening up the backpack, I was impressed with what I saw in the backpack. I will actually be putting this in my car in case of emergency. This is a great product for emergencies. If you are stranded, there are emergency blankets, crank flashlights, and radios. There are food rations, wash clothes, and more. I hope that this is a bag that the Red Cross uses when there is an emergency! Well thought out.

It is well thought out and contains very useful products that you will need and use in an emergency situation. It is easy to store and stands out if you are in a hurry or under stress. It is not so expensive that you will be afraid to bring it along in the car or on a hike into the mountains. I have seen bug out bags that are so full of expensive kit that the owners didn't want to take it out of the house. How useful is that? This is a great addition to my supply closet and it will make a great gift for your loved ones.

It has everything you need except for clothes and personal items. One thing I really appreciate is that there is still room left over for personal additions. So happy to see it does include a personal hygiene mesh bag with basic essentials. Contains 3 days worth of basic necessities for one person, along with first aid needs. Additionally a flashlight (batteries), penlight, multitool, emergency blanket, poncho, and many more useful necessities. This does Also include a crank-power flashlight/radio/phone charger, which does work (I will add my own solar power bank for the phones). Includes a 3.5 gallon water bag (water straw for this would be awesome) which is a nice addition to the 4 emergency water packets. Very nice preparedness kit, surprisingly loaded in a nice size easy to carry bag.

It's an easy to carry design and has everything you could need -from blanket to rations to flashlight and duct tape.
