American Standard 5311012.02 Laurel Toilet Seat and Toilet Seat Cover Elongated, White

I have always dreaded when it was time to replace the toilet seat. We have an elongated toilet and you would think that any elongated toilet seat would fit as a replacement. Wrong. Every one I have bought either has a large amount of the rim uncovered or just barely fits. So frustrating. I do not want my legs to come in contact with the toilet bowl rim. But THIS ONE FITS PERFECTLY. Finally. I cannot understand why all toilet seats don't have the same measurements, but they don't. I do know we need a 19" toilet seat and this one is by far the best one we have owned. Another thing is comfort. This one is COMFORTABLE. We have mostly had plastic ones in the past and most of those were not something you would want to sit on because of the discomfort. I am so happy to finally have an elongated seat that actually covers the entire rim and is comfortable to sit on. I would definitely recommend this elongated toilet seat. The measurements of this seat is 20.50 x 16.00 x 3.00 IN. So now I know our toilet needs a seat that is 16 inches across and a seat width of 3 inches to fit the rim and be comfortable. And I am a very large person and I am still comfortable sitting. I hope this review helps you decide.

Our American Standard toilet can with what I thought was a comfortable, but too flexable of a seat. No biggie, really It worked fine. I prefer a less flexible seat. This one works fine, and was easy to install.

How the heck do you know which toilet seat to buy????? THIS ONE! Seriously. Very easy to put on. It is heavier than any of the others. This thing will be in my bathroom FOREVER! NOTE: I always had padded toilet seats....but anymore, they are all JUNK. They last a few months...thats it. I'm done with them.

good solid wood.. I live in an apartment and bought the seat myself to replace the thin p;astic seat that management had installed. It fit perfect. Just took the maintenance man 5 min to remove from box and install. It is a good value at reasonable cost.

This toilet seat was easy to install- less than 15 minutes and was a perfect fit. This is a solid traditional toilet seat. Unlike plastic toilet seats, the material is strong so you can sit on top of the closed seat as well. Just know you that there is no slow closing mechanism that the plastic seats have.

This seat is good quality, easy to install. I'd buy this again.
