American Standard Elite ASE90SL Slim-Line 3/4 HP Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal with Power Cord

Straight forward installation and appears to be quality stainless. It grinds food waste well but is a bit on the noisy side at start-up. However, it isn't meant to be silent. Also, the length of this unit means you can't put anything substantial under it. Time will tell regarding the longevity. It's our second disposal (two homes) as we appreciate the initial value.

This is a solid 3/4 HP garbage disposal for a great price. It's slim, which helps save space under the sink, but still provides plenty of power. The instructions are clear, and it fits standard plumbing without any issues. Installation was straightforward and took less than an hour. So far, it's been working well and does what it's supposed to do.

I must say that this one is probably the best garbage disposal I've ever had the privilege of installing it was straightforward super easy and I love how quiet it is.

Needed this for a downstairs (basement) apartment in our home. This unit is very good. Quiet, and quite smooth. Honestly It's probably better than the "builder grade" that our original builder used. At the end of the day it's all about the price, and Walmart came through on this. Saved me about 40% off of other retailers.

How can you go wrong with American Standard. We had our kitchen remodeled and we found this disposal online through Walmart and it was a great price. It is quiet and works very well.

Seems to work well. The installation was a bit challenging with the split ring. It may be because our sink is over 50 years old.

States it has Easy Mount Bracket. NOT VERY CLEAR. In the middle of the job, plumber stated it would cost $150 more to modify the Easy Mount Bracket to attach to my sink. I assume the plumber is honest. Not very clear in the description about this issue or what to look for. The added fee was more than the cost of the disposal.

I naively assumed that a product bearing American Standard's name would be superior, as are their other plumbing products. However, this disposer, a Joneca product, is a major disappointment. It doesn't grind cleanly and the noise and vibration are unbelievable. I double-checked my D.I.Y. installation to ensure that it's not operator error. In the future, I will gladly pay the difference and go with the tried and true InSinkErator.
